Chapter Twelve
Payton’s POV
I know that I have little money but I knew the store keeper and she gave me a deal on it. The money I spent on it so it was worth it because it was funny seeing his face. I stand up and scoot the chair closer to his bed; he reaches over and grabs the remote sitting himself up further. “Are you ready?” I ask as I flip the page open.
“I guess,” he says with a sigh. “Do I have to write in Braille?” he asks sounding a little nervous.
“No, I mean you can if you want and if you can still write normal then you can do that,” I tell him because I honestly see no reason why not.
“I don’t know if I still can,” he says with a thinking face.
“We we try that soon any ways. Ok, now to chapter one,” I say with a slight smile and he groans. I look at his blue eyes and feel so close to him. His brown hair is slightly messing and is so darn cute. I clear my throat lightly and begin to read what it says. “These letters are arranged to show how they are related: the middle row is the same as the top row with an extra dot in the bottom left corner. The bottom row is the same as the middle row with extra dot in the bottom right corner. W was an afterthought and doesn't fit this scheme, as Braille was invented for French and W is rarely used in French.” Then I slowly left his hand and place it on the A for him to feel. He closes his eyes and feels the one dot and nods.
“Alright I got it, one dot is A,” he says with a slight proud smile.
“Now this is B,” I say as I move his hand to it so he can feel it. He shuts his eyes again feeling.
“Two dots going down is B,” he says and I nod. “I feel like I am play with dice,” he says and I roll my eyes.
“Hardy har har be serious for once,” I say and reach up lightly push his shoulder.
“I am being serious,” he states with a pout which is kind of cute.
“Oh hush! Now on to C,” I say and place his hand onto it. He shots me a fake mad face. And then shuts his eyes and feels it.
“Two dots side way is C. I understand miss partying pooper,” he says with a smirk.
“Oh hush grumpy butt,” I say as I move his hand to D. He feels it and then shuts his eyes.
“Over two and then down one is D,” he says sticking his tongue out at me. “This is actually pretty easy,” he says with a smirk.
