91. Ultimate Weapon

1 DAY AFTER THE INTERNSHIPS BEGAN

A blue muscle car pulls up to an old office in the middle of nowhere. The doors to the car open, and out come Kevin Levin, Devlin Levin and Tokio Aoi.

"Remind me why we're here again?" Tokio asked.

"To check up on the mask of Ah Puch." Kevin replied. "It is the key to the most powerful and destructive Earth weapon ever created. It was found by Max Tennyson in the past and stored here for safekeeping."

"In an old office building?" Devlin asked.

"Its a secret Plumbers facility made specifically to hold this mask." Kevin replied.

"How is a mask the key to a powerful weapon?" Tokio asked.

"Its a guide to the sword of Ek Chuah." Kevin replied.

"Wait, Ek Chuah as in the Mayan God of War? THAT Ek Chuah?" Devlin asked in surprise.

"Yeah. A few hours ago, some people tried to break into this place and tried to steal the mask. The defense systems prevented it of course. But Rook suspects the thieves might try again." Kevin explained.

"So, that's why we're here. An investigation job." Tokio realized.

"Yup. Not bad for a first mission, huh?" Kevin asked.

"Kinda mundane if you ask me. I was hoping for something with a little action." Devlin replied.

"You might still get it. But security and investigation is still a vital part of Rooter training. And Hero training, of course." Kevin pointed out.

"Right..." Devlin replied.

"So, what's so special about this sword anyway?" Tokio asked.

"Ek Chuah's sword was said to have leveled cities in the past. Made people bow down to Ek Chua instantly." Kevin replied.

"Sounds like a good sword! Think I could control it?" Tokio asked excitedly.

"The sword's not like the ones you've used in the past, kid. It takes a real seasoned warrior to wield it. And anyone who controls the sword, controls the destiny of mankind itself." Kevin explained. "And we're not gonna let it fall into the wrong hands."

Kevin, Devlin and Tokio all walk up to the facility and enter the office building. A security guard approaches them.

"This is restricted area, please turn back-"

Kevin secretly flashes the guard his badge.

"I'd like to check on your supplies." Kevin said to the guard.

"I see. This way." The guard replied as he led Kevin and his team to the storage room.

Kevin and his team walk through the storage room as they followed the guard until the guard stopped against a wall.

"Why'd he stop there?" Tokio asked.

The security guard then brings out a Plumbers badge of his own, surprising Tokio. The guard places his badge against the wall which opens up, revealing an elevator. The guard steps inside the elevator with Kevin and his team doing the same. After pressing a blue button, the elevator's door closes and goes down into the underground. The elevator then opens, revealing a hallway lined with circuitry and green walls.

"Come on." The guard then leads the group to a chamber locked away behind a large door. 

The guard then flashes his badge at the door, causing it open. Inside the chamber was a small podium, on top of which floated the Mask of  Ah Puch. The podium was surrounded by red lasers and the walls of the chamber had guns pointing at the podium.
