81. It's Time For Some Rescues!!...Or Is It?

Ken arrives at the ANTE room, joined by Itsuka and Devlin. As soon as they enter, they're swarmed by their classmates.

"Where the heck were you guys?!" Mina asked.

"We legit thought you guys wouldn't make it!!" Sero exclaimed.

"Took you long enough to get your asses here." Katsuki scoffed, standing off to the side with his hands folded.

"Did you get attacked by a very large group of students?" Izuku asked.

"We did, actually." Itsuka replied.

"I got attacked by a blonde lady. Real strong she was. I was able to beat her though." Ken added.

That made Itsuka put her head down in disappointment.

"Are you okay, Kendo?" Aoi asked.

"What? Y-Yeah! I'm fine." Itsuka perked up.

"You sure? You don't quite feel like yourself." Aoi pointed out.

"I'm just...Tired is all. It's been one tough fight after another." Itsuka replied.

"Yeah, I can relate." Aoi nodded in understanding. "Well, there's food and drinks over there. Along with medical supplies." He pointed over to a counter behind him. "Ken, Devlin! You guys get all that?"

"Yeah! I definitely need a smoothie!" Ken replied as he walked over to the counter.

"Me too!" Devlin added, joining Ken.

"Itsuka, you coming?" Ken asked.

"Yeah, I'll be right there..." Itsuka replied as she walked over to the counter.

Aoi stands alone, eating a sandwich as he stared Momo, who was speaking with Ochako. thinking about what he said to Momo previously.

" 'Yaoyorozu, if you were here , I'd kiss you'. What the hell was I thinking? Why would I say something like that? Now, everything's awkward between me and Yaoyorozu."  Aoi thought as he took another bite of his sandwich. 

Momo's and Aoi's gazes meet, they share an awkward smile before resuming whatever they were doing before.

"You've been staring at that girl for a while." Devlin said as he joined Aoi's side, holding a smoothie cup.

"Its none of your business, Dev." Aoi replied.

"Why the cold shoulder? Don't tell me you like her?" Devlin asked.

"Of course not! She's...Just a friend." Aoi denied.

"Well, friends don't give each other awkward glances like that." Devlin pointed out. "What happened?"

"I said something really stupid and embarrassing. And now we both feel pretty awkward about it." Aoi replied.

"What'd you say?" Devlin asked.

"I'd rather not say it." Aoi immediately refused to answer.

"Well, whatever it was, you need to sort it out with her. Or you'll never have a shot at dating the prettiest girl in class." Devlin advised.

"Like I said, I'm not looking for a girlfriend!" Aoi said with a hearty blush on his face.

"Could've fooled me." Devlin smirked.

"Give me that!" Aoi snatched the smoothie from Devlin's hands and walked away.

"Hey! That's mine! Got get your own!" Devlin said angrily.

"Mine now, asshole. That's what you get for assuming things that aren't true." Aoi replied, taking a sip of Devlin's smoothie.

"Bitch..." Devlin muttered before smirking. "Although, I do hope everything works out for you in the end..."
