Because of that sheepish smile, mas bumongga ang pag-cheer ko.

I know. I was being the biggest fangirl that I am. But, haler, it doesn't happen to anyone. I mean, when will I get this chance again, right?

Some girls gave me deadly glares. I was not sure if it was because I was being nosy or because Japheth noticed me . . . or both.

I shrugged their dagger-like stares.

Kaninang umaga, nag-decide ako na I wouldn't get stressed over anything. And I'm definitely not gonna fold just because these people are throwing hate on me.

I tried to be understanding, though. Maybe they're upset kasi hindi sila napapansin ng crush nila. I bet they're into Cyrus. Girls naman kasi, you should have known better, right? That's one of the many disadvantages of having a crush on someone who's mainstream. Well, ako lang naman 'to no and I'm not saying that this is what it really is. Pero feeling ko kasi masyado ng familiar si Cyrus sa attention. I mean, hindi na bago sa pandinig niya lahat ng hiyawan ng mga fans. He probably knows that almost everyone is going gaga over him. Kulang na nga lang yata bumuo ng kulto ang mga fangirls niya. 

Unlike Japheth, he doesn't get most of the girls' attention. He doesn't get asked to sign autographs often. He usually stands in the back and gets hardly noticed.

Well, that's a blessing and a curse. There are times when I want everyone to notice how talented he is. I want him to have a moment because he deserves it. He's a great musician. Hello? Hindi naman ako mababaliw sa kaniya nang ganito kung hindi. I may be a crazy fangirl, but I stan talent. And he's one of the most talented musicians I have ever known. 

But to be honest, I like all of them. Lahat naman kasi sila talented. How can't I even adore these humans? Every time na naglalabas sila ng mga bagong song covers, they give fans something new. There are covers na hindi si Cyrus ang nagli-lead. He sometimes stays back and does the guitar or drums. Sometimes, G and James do the vocals. Si Japh naman, minsan naga-acoustic guitar. These boys are gems! They literally can play almost anything.

And truth is, there are way too many rising amateur bands out there. I've tried to listen to those bands to see if they can hold a candle to my boys, but none of them succeeded in dethroning my ACES.

However, just like any fandom, it's unavoidable to have an ultimate bias. 

In their case, si Japh 'yun for me. Maybe it's for a fact that bassists are the most overlooked and underappreciated members of most bands. There are times na nafu-frustrate ako kasi people don't just get it! They don't understand or respect the dedication it takes to get good at bass! Hay nako, kung bibilangin lang ang dami ng beses na sinubukan kong i-defend si Japh sa mga bullies, ma-aawardan na akong best fangirl.

If only they know how much structure he gives to the band, they wouldn't underestimate him. 

Other than that, of course, there's also no denying that he is such a fine, good-looking man. See that face? Papasang model o artista 'yan, eh! Hence, I've been crushing him for ages already.

Truth is, I tried to get over my crush on him many times, but I failed every time. So, I've decided to come to terms with the fact that he's my forever happy crush. I mean, I'm not even complaining.

The next song they performed was Somebody That I Used to Know by Mayday Parade feat Vic Fuentes version.

Napaka-flexible ng boses ni Cyrus. Wala bang limit ang vocal range niya? No wonder why everyone's going gaga over him.

A fangirl saw me all giddy. She smiled before saying, "Grabe, no? Ang galing nila. Their talent could shame today's artists."
