True Love (Camren)

Chapter 20

Lauren wakes up a weekend later with pure excitement. It was the day of the Lana Del Rey concert with Camila. She practically jumps out of bed, getting ready before going downstairs wearing her shirt she'd be matching with the girl. Once she has her breakfast and brushes her teeth, she's out the door to her girlfriend's house. She pulls up to the curb, rushing out of the car to the front door. She knocks before coming right in, as all five of the girls had been accustomed to doing by now. 

"Camz! You ready?" she calls up the stairs. Lana comes racing down the stairs at the sound of her voice, demanding attention from the girl. Lauren chuckles softly, lifting the creature up into her arms. She holds her up to look at her face. 

"How's my baby girl, Lana?" she says in a baby voice. The kitten meows softly, and Lauren smiles before petting her as she walked upstairs. "Camz?" Lauren calls, realizing nobody had answered. "Camila!" she calls louder, becoming concerned. 

"Hmm?" she heard a soft groan from her bedroom. 

Lauren sighs in relief, opening the door to find Camila dressed for the concert, but just woken up. "Camz, we're supposed to be leaving," Lauren says, chuckling softly at her girlfriend as she set Lana down on the bed. 

"I know, I got up early to get ready but I couldn't even sleep for more than two hours last night because I was so excited," she says, sitting up to brush her hair again. 

Lauren helps her fix her curls she had put in her hair and some more makeup that had smeared off before they were rushing back into the car and driving to the concert. 

When they get there, they park before heading in, handing a large man their tickets. "All set. Go on in," he says, smiling.

During 'Born To Die', Lauren feels Camila grab her hand, and she turns her head to look at her. Camila smiles, leaning forward and kissing her gently. Lauren turned her body to face her completely, kissing her a bit deeper once she did so. 

"I love you, Lo," she says after pulling back. 

Lauren smiles. "I love you too, Camz," 

The rest of the concert goes by quickly, and after Lana sings Summertime Sadness, they head out with the rest of the mob. 

"Thank you for taking us to that concert, Camz," Lauren says gratefully once they're in the car on the way home. 

Camila smiles. "You're welcome," she says, leaning over the consul to kiss her cheek. Once they get back to Camila's house, Lauren winds up staying the night. They watch random movies on Netflix in Camila's room, snuggled up on the bed with Lana curled up next to Lauren's leg. They eventually fall asleep like that, Lauren smiling to herself at Camila's soft snoring before drifting off herself.
