Chapter 35

About a month after the wedding, Camila Lauren, Ally, Troy, Dinah, and Normani were all sat in Camila and Lauren's apartment, having gotten together on a free Saturday afternoon for lunch. Lauren was in the middle of telling a story from her classes yesterday after Normani had asked her what happened to her arm, which had been cut, and Camila noticed nobody was really talking except for the two of them.

She looks around at their four guests, seeing Ally glancing at Troy nervously every so often as well as Normani and Dinah doing the same.

"...So that's how that happened, but it was okay because Camz helped me bandage it and stuff when I got home," Lauren finishes, smiling at her wife as she put her hand over hers, rubbing the back of it gently with her thumb.

Camila smiles back, loving how the slightest touches from her wife made her feel 10 times better. Wife. That still made Camila smile whenever she thought about it.

After everyone around them had still barely spoken, turning the attention back to Lauren or Camila every chance they got, Camila decided she'd had enough.

"Alright, what's going on?" she asks them all.

"W-what do you mean?" Dinah tries to ask casually.

"I mean you all have barely spoken a word since you got here, you're looking at each other looking nervous as hell, and you keep reverting all conversations back to me or Lauren," Camila replies matter-of-factly.

Normani sighs, looking at Dinah. "Alright, alright... we uh, have something to tell you guys-"

"Mani and I are dating!" Dinah blurts out, making everyone look at her in shock, including Normani.

"What?" Lauren asks in both disbelief and excitement.

"We're dating. Officially," Normani says after a moment. They're both blushing profusely now, and all eyes trained on them made them even more uncomfortable.

"Finally!" Camila exclaims after a moment, high-fiving Lauren. They all give them a confused look. "Lauren and I were wondering how long it'd take for you two to finally get together," she explains.

"So how's this happen, exactly?" Ally asks.

"Well, after the wedding I took Mani home, and she invited me inside. We were just talking and one thing led to another and... I kissed her," Dinah says, smiling sheepishly as she grabbed her girlfriend's hand.

"Awe," all the girls coo.

"W-we have some big news, too," Ally's small voice speaks up. Everyone turns their attention to her.

"Um, also after the wedding, Troy and I... Y'know..." Ally starts quietly, her face red.

Lauren kinks an eyebrow.

"I, I uh..." Ally stutters, growing nervous and flustered.

"C'mon, Ally. You can tell us," Lauren says softly.

Troy puts a comforting hand over hers.

"I'm pregnant," Ally says after a moment, smiling nervously.

All the girls look at her in shock, and as she's about to say something else, they all start squealing in excitement, standing and engulfing her in a group hug. Troy laughs from beside them before Dinah pulls him into it.

"Well apparently everyone had a good time that night," Camila says, making everyone laugh.

a/n: Good morning! I barely got any sleep last night because Nala was in my room bc my sister was at her girlfriend's house after homecoming and she literally woke me up every half hour sooo yeah.
