Jace

"I can not believe it." Jace said, as he paced back and forth in the library.

"Well you better, because it happened." said Alec.

"Why are you not upset about this?" Jace asked Alec.

"Because I knew."

"And you didn't stop her?"

Isabelle rolled her eyes. "Hello? Sitting right here?"

"I can not believe that you brought Simon here. This isn't a field trip to Hell Izzy. You can't just invite people along." yelled Jace.

"I know that." Isabelle spat. "I just wanted him to be here, ok? Is that so bad? He was there before, and it's not like I forced him. He chose to come."

"He lost his memory. He doesn't remember last time Isabelle." said Alec, as he massaged his temples.

"He is here now, and I'm happy. So just be like Elsa, and let it go!" Isabelle stood up from the chair, and stormed out of the library.

"I still can't believe what she did." said Jace, as he started for the door.

"Who's Elsa?" Alec asked, as Jace walked passed him.

The blonde Shadowhunter just shrugged. "She's been hanging out with Vanessa way too much."

Clary

Clary was in her room packing her brown leather backpack with clothes and other necessities when she heard a knock at the door.

"Come in." Clary called, without turning around.

"I'm not sorry I beat up your boyfriend."

She turned around and saw Simon standing at the doorway with a backpack slung over her shoulder. He had on a smile.

"Simon!" Clary ran over and hugged her friend.

"You're going to squeeze me to death."

She let go of Simon. "What are you doing here?"

"Isabelle stopped by a couple hours ago and told me what was going on. She asked if I wanted to come along, and after I heard that you were back, of course I wanted to come."

"Simon, you really don't have to. You don't remember the last time you went to Edom, and the last time you did go, your memories got stolen. I don't want you to go."

Simon shook her head. "I want to go. Edom was where I lost everything, and I'm going to go back to try and make things better between you and the others."

Clary smiled. "Okay. You don't have to 'make anything better,' but I'm really happy you are coming along." She gave Simon another hug, then walked over to her bed where a bunch of clothes were laid across as she packed. "I'm just packing some things. Last time we were there, it was a while, and I don't know about this time, so I'm trying to figure out what to pack."

Simon set his bag down by the bed, and walked over to Clary. "Well, it's not like there's washing machines in Edom. I just threw in a couple of shirts and pants, and my training gear."

"Well, I can't just throw stuff in. I still want to look presentable."

Just then, a knock sounded at Clary's door.

"Come in." Clary called.

Isabelle walked in. "Hey. Thought I might find you here Simon."

"Thank the Angel you're here Izzy. I need your help, how do I pack for such a Hell-like place?" Clary tossed a bunch of clothes for effect.
