Catherine was running and running away into this dark alleyway and she ended up in a maze of tunnels. She hears the noise of heavy footsteps and speeding bikes. She runs down the alley and trips into the mouth of the opening, falling into this deep, dark, hole and is swallowed up by the earth.

Catherine wakes up in a cold sweat and instantly sits up. She didn't realize that Benny was right beside her until she heard someone softly say, "Cat, what's wrong?"
"Nothing. Just a bad dream." She says to Benny as she lays back down and cuddles up in the blanket.
"Here, you can lay closer to me if you would like to." He says, looking at her.
I hesitantly move into his arms. He holds me in a warm embrace for a while and then says, "Good night." Catherine Smalls."
"Good night, Benjamin Rodreguis."

When Catherine woke up, she could hear faint whispers and a lot of mad voices talking extremely fast. She opens her eyes and sees Scotty and the guys looking like they have just seen a ghost. Catherine then, remembers last night. The bad dream, the comforting, how good it felt to be in Benny's arms. 'Stop that Cat. You don't need to be thinking that way.'
She turns swiftly out of Benny's grasp and he awakes. He stretches and sees the guys. "Uh, hi guys. Ready for a game of ball?"
They start to rat out Benny so Catherine grabs her book bag and leaves the treehouse heading home to get a new pair of clothes.
Catherine gets in the house and sneaks to her room. Catherine grabs her own ball and glove, along with a new journal since she filled the other one up with the one story.
Catherine puts on the clean pair of jeans and a red t-shirt. Then, She grabs her blue baseball cap and leaves her bedroom. Catherine can smell her mom making waffles and frying bacon.
Scotty was sitting at the table with a big stack of pancakes caked in syrup along with a few stops of bacon. Catherine can feel her mouth begin to water but then, She remembers the task ahead. Cat runs out of the house and climb onto her bike. Scotty will be there later. She gets up on her bike and take back roads to the sandlot. No one was there just yet so Catherine just gets off her bike an headed to the dugout.
Catherine pulls out her notebook and begin to start a new tale when she notices a whole bunch of red and white jackets, like the one the boy was wearing last night, coming her way, write furiously as she sticks the note in her black backpack's front pocket. Then, Catherine acts like she hasn't seen them yet and continue her writing.
'It was a ambitious attack. Maddison Thickett knew she had to save herself or this gang of hoodlums would pulverize her.'
"Hey, little lady." Camden calls, sending shivers down my back.
"What do you want?" Catherine says, haughtily looking at all of these guys looking her up and down.
They then grin at each other and begin to do boy stuff. Catherine rolls her eyes as these new boys begin whistle. She gives a questioning glance to Camden who smirks at her.
"Now I see what you meant by you had fun last night Phillips." A boy with long brown hair and matching uniform snickers.
Her jaw drops as soon as the words exit the boy's mouth to when it went to smirking. "You twisted sick boy!" Catherine yells at Phillips. Then, the same boy who made that vulgar comment gets off his bike and comes over and touches her shoulder.
"It's okay, baby. I will love you like no other." He says, wiggling his eyebrows.
Then, the sandlot boys come rolling in.
Catherine is about to make a snarky comment when Timmy comes and wraps a protective arm around her waist. "Are these boys hurting you in anyway, babe?"
The rival team looks at Catherine and her eyes slightly begin to bulge because she has never been called that ever. "No, they were just leaving. Weren't you Camden?" Catherine sneers at him.
"Wait a minute. You are dating Timmy
Timmons..." He chuckles, and the rest of the team sits on their bike stare at them in awe.
"You have a problem with it." Timmy cries balling his fists.
The rival team begins to laugh when Catherine pulled him backwards.
"Stop, Tim. Please, just let's leave so you can get me home quickly from our date." She says, surprising everyone, including Tim.
Catherine nudges his shoulder and he stops staring at her like Catherine is stupid. "Oh, oh! Right, our date. Yah we better go so can you leave please?" He says, wrapping an arm around Catherine's shoulder.
They leave and Catherine lets out a sigh. The guys get the baseball and she take my spot on the bench.
They all run out to the field except for Tim. Benny looks at Timmy and Tim says, "Benny, I meant it. I want to take Cat on a date sometime today."
Benny sighs, " Okay, Timmy go ahead. Don't forget about the big thing though."
"We'll meet you there." Timmy says, grabbing my hand.
Catherine gets up after, Timmy tells me he wants to show her something. "Okay let's go."
He takes Catherine's hand and she remembers the note. "Oops." She says, suddenly.
"What?" Timmy asks, curiously. He smiles a big smile. 'Geez, do all of these guys have perfect teeth.' Catherine thinks, keeping it to herself.
"Nothing, let's just go." She says, kissing Timmy Timmons cheek and he blushes.
"Yah," Timmy clears his throat. "Let's go on that date."
