Chapter 7/Moving time

For the rest of the night I packed up all my things and then went out over to Amber's house. I stayed with her so we could talk about everything that's been going on.

"Did you really have to go off on your Dad? He's part reason why you have everything." Amber said looking me up and down.

"Uhh, yes I'm old enough now to make my own decisions. I don't need my parents to tell me who I can and can not date. Or run my career My dad cut me off, and I'm fine. I can do it alone, I'm a big time lawyer now, plus the only thing he was paying was that tiny ass condo. I am moving to a 4 bedroom home that is just enough space for me. I've always wanted it, now I have it. I can prove you and my Dad that I don't need his money to live off of." I snapped at her. Making her look away from me.

"I'm just saying, that maybe your overreacting a little. Your dad is looking out for you, and then you up and move out of his place. Your making yourself look like a fool." She said, making me jerk my head back a little.

"Excuse me Amber, Whose side are you on? I'm tired of giving everybody what they want, I've been doing that my whole life. It's time to start living for Serena. I don't care what everyone will think. If I wanna be with Dominic I will or if I want to defend another thug I will do so!" I said, grabbing my things and leaving her home. I was irritated and wanted everyone to let me be. There was no changing my mind about anything.

Driving home, I called the movers, and my realtor to get an update on the house. 

"Ok soon as you called my cleaning crew went over to inspect the house, dust, they are doing the yard in the morning befor4e you come and I will have a welcome packet and keys in the morning. Don't forget to have your deposit and you will be good to go." Ms Nancy stated. 

I went home and called Sam over. Placing some empty boxed by the door, now all I had left to pack was my clothes. It was only 10:15pm, so I cleaned out my living room closet and pushed all the furniture and boxes in one room

*Ding Dong*

"Heyyyyyy Sammmmm", I said opening the door.

"Hey Baby girl, long time no see. Why do you have all of your things packed?" He said looking around the Condo.

"Uhhh, My dad and I got into an argument about Dominic and he cut me off, so I'm moving out of his place he's paying for." I said looking him dead in his eyes.

"Ok, Your going over to the new place in the morning, come stay with me then." Sam said. "I can't have you staying here all lonely." He said while laughing. I gathered a couple of things and locked my door and walked over to Sam's car.

"The movers will be here at 8a.m. so I'll leave my car here. Cause your gonna help me move in." I told him straight up. "I've done everything here, I just need help getting things into my new house." 

"Fine." He said. I looked at him and laughed.

We drove over to Sam's house in silence. I was shocked he didn't have any of his little toys with him.

"So where's your little mistress?" I asked. He looked at me and rolled his eyes.

"One broke up with me, the other is at his Moms." He said.

"Sorry to hear that, Hope you can get back to it." I said. He shook his head and I just left it alone.

We finally arrived at Sam's house. I got out the car and went inside. I've never been to his house before and it was beautiful. The interior was all white, the living room was black and red. He had cute pictures of him and his family, all black leather furniture with red and black pillows. He had glass tables and very expensive china. He also had a glass table in the kitchen, and it was decorated with apples.

"I'm loving this Sam, you wanna decorate my place for me?" I said in a serious tone.

"Sure doll, just give me a color for each room." He said, while he fixed us some drinks. You can put your bags in this room, you'll sleep in here. But for now take this glass and have a seat, I cooked some lasagna earlier and had no one to share it with.

I wasn't hungry, but It looked like it was pretty good so I had to have some. We sat, ate, and talked about everything. From him and his many fans and Dominic and I. I even discussed me and Amber's argument. I still loved her but I'm tired of being told what to do.

After that, we went in the living room and watched tv until Sam fell asleep on me. I then took a long hot shower and went to bed.

*The next morning*

It was 7:35 in the morning and I smelled bacon, I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and washed my face. Sliding into something comfortable. I sent out an email, letting the office know we will not be opening due to our win and for them to enjoy the day off. 

"Goodmorning Doll." Sam said putting my plate on the table.

"Thanks, you didn't have to do this." I said.

"I Didn't, Sarah did. We made up this morning." He said and winked at me.

"Eeewwww, Leave out all details please." We laughed and ate breakfast. After that Sam put on some clothes and we headed to my house. "Sarah lets go honey." Sam Yelled through the house and she came sprinting down the stairs. As we pulled up to the condo, Shaniya and Amber were already sitting in front of my house parked. 

"Hey boo." Shaniya said and gave me a hug." I hugged her back. "Yes, we are here to help you." Amber said. I smiled and gave her a hug. We then took the fragile things and put them in my car, walking through the condo, double checking both rooms and closets as they went through all cabinets.  The movers showed up on time and grabbed all the furniture and the rest of my boxes. 

We all went over to my new two-story house which took us less then 10 minutes to get over there. I got out the car and opened the door. I then showed the movers exactly where to put all of my furniture and All the boxes where put in the designated area. Shaniya, Amber, and Sam started to help unpack everything. Monica pulled up with coffee and snacks

"Thank you Monica, you didn't have to d this."

"I figured ya'll needed a pick me up." She said. 

Sam helped me with both bed frames and built my desk for my home office. I placed the covers on  the beds and set up all bathrooms, and unpacked everything that went in my room. "This is really me, all me. I did it alone", I said to myself. I smiled and continued to unpack my things. It was 12:07 and we all were exhausted.

"Damn, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathroom and a spacious living room and kitchen area. Bitch I'll be over here all the time." Shaniya said. We all laughed.

"I'm going to stay in my home office , then the other two rooms will be for guest. I still have to buy one bedroom set and decorations.  But overall I have everything" I said proudly. I then put all the boxes outside and cleaned the bathroom and kitchen thoroughly with the help of my friends. 

"Bitch Lets go ahead and get everything out the way, I know your not going to your office no time soon." I looked at Shaniya and put my head down. "Lets go." I said

"Ok while ya'll do that, Monica and I will fix some lunch." They gazed at one another for a while. I shook my head. "Uhh no thank you, I'm going to be the first to use that kitchen. Bring your ass." We all laughed and loaded into my car.

Heading to Wal-Mart so I could purchase some things for my house. We shopped around for cleaning supplies, bath towels, dishes and silverware, laundry baskets, and things to decorate the house. We spent hours in that store making sure I got everything I needed. We also went to a Bed Bath and Beyond to order m spreads for the guests room.

"I'm starving." Amber said. So we stopped by a nearby diner and ate lunch.

"I think I'm going to like my new place, even though its huge for one person. I just wanted to prove to my Dad that I don't need his money or anything from him and that he can't run my life. I'm very successful because I'm intelligent, I've been saving to where I can buy pretty much anything." I said. They just looked at me and Amber said, "Well I apologize for how I came at you, I just thought you were being stubborn as always."

We sat there for a moment after we ate and went back to my house to get everything settled.
