They meant to kill me. I knew it. So naturally, I ran. I ran as fast as I could, not quite sure where I was going. I turned the corner into an alley. He was right behind me. My blue dress was in tatters. I looked behind me only to find him standing right there, coldly smiling.
"You can't run," he was laughing, seeing as he was right. I was at the end of the alley, nowhere to turn.
"You can't outrun us, we will find you. No matter how far you run or how well you hide."
My only option out was a dark pit. I decided it would be better than whatever he planned to do to me. I turned to jump.
"Go ahead and try," his voice was utterly emotionless. I jumped.
"But we will find you, Indigo."

I woke up in bed, gasping for oxygen. It was just a dream, I reassured myself. But then why had it felt so real?
