19: Gonna Be A Dad Preference

So this is basically how they'd each react to finding out they're going to be a dad or how they would be as a dad.

Darry: He'd actually be kind of nervous about becoming a father even though he raised two teenage boys. Darry would also be really happy because, let's face it, he's probably the most qualified to be a dad in the gang, and he could easily transition into a family man even with work and all.

Sodapop: Soda would be ecstatic about it. He'd make sure everything was set and alright for when the baby came. He would probably start acting more mature and taking life a little more seriously, but he'd still manage to be his usual goofy self. He'd also be super protective about you, and he would make sure you were feeling alright and safe at all times.

Steve: Steve would be pretty excited but also really nervous. He wouldn't want to be the kind of dad that his was to him, so he'd try everything he could to make sure he would be a better dad than he had. He'd probably start being more mature, almost like Darry but not quite.

Two-bit: Of course, Two would be really happy and proud. He didn't grow up with a good father figure in his life, so he'd want to be there for his kids. He'd sober up and try to keep away from partying so much. He'd want his mom to be proud of him and his family. He'd also be kind of protective of you while you were pregnant, especially when you guys were around the gang since it could get pretty rough.

Johnny: He'd be really worried. His parents weren't trhe best example to grow up with, so he would do anything to be the best dad he could be. He'd probably go to Darry for advice all the time. I think he'd be super proud too because he knew that you and him would never be like his parents.

Ponyboy: Pony would be kind of surprised and nervous. He would ask Darry a lot of questions all the time about being a dad and stuff. He would be over protective of you and try to make you stay home so you wouldn't get hurt. Once the baby came around, he'd watch over it like a hawk, and of course, he would read the bedtime stories.

Dallas: Dally would be pretty mad. Everyone knows he isn't the family type. He'd probably run off for a while, leaving you alone and pregnant. The gang would convince him to go back to you, but he wouldn't try to change to be a great dad. He'd still go out and party, but he would acknowledge that he had to get money for you and the kid. Dally would mostly get money from playing poker and stuff.

Wow. That was pretty tough to write. I hope y'all liked it tho. I have been so caught up in school work and stuff. It's crazy!
