For jazzyaf

It was a summer night, but it was too windy to be hot. Normally by this time of day, the heat would've just sat there over the town to make everyone miserable, so this was a nice change.

You and a couple of your friends were walking to Buck's place for a party. You would be meeting up with your boyfriend, Dallas, at the party.

You two had just started dating the week before, and you were still finding out what kind of guy he was. You heard rumors about him, but you weren't one to judge. Goodness knows there were rumors going around about you. You were what people called a 'punk.' You caused trouble just for the hell of it, and you had yet to lose a fight.

You got to Buck's and asked around if anyone had seen Dallas. You soon found him.

"Hey, Winston," you greeted.

"Oh hey," he replied, immediately sliding his arm around your waist and pulling you to his side.

A girl half-danced, half-walked, past, clearly already drunk. She stopped when she saw Dally. "Hey, Dally!" She noticed you at his side. "I see you got yourself a pretty broad." She gave you a rather distasteful look.

"Yeah," Dally replied. He smiled at you.

You felt this was a perfect opportunity to test him, to see what kind of boyfriend he was. "I'm gonna go get a drink," you decided. "You want one?" Dally nodded.

You walked over to an open space at the bar and waited to order your drinks. You looked over at Dally and the broad you had left him with. She was clearly trying to flirt with him, but he kept a fairly bored expression on his face, showing he had no interest in her. You happily grabbed the drinks and sauntered back to your boyfriend.

"Here ya go," you said as you handed Dally his drink. Then, to hopefully drive the chick away, you pulled him into a kiss.

Dallas smirked into the kiss, obviously catching on to what you were doing. It turned into something of a full on make out session before she finally decided to walk away. Dally pulled back.

"Jealous?" he accused, playfully.

"Not at all," you replied, smirking. "I just like mark my territory."

I realize how weird that last line sounds...

Sorry this was kinda late. I would've had it up sooner, but last night I went to WinterJam, which is a Christian music event, and didn't get home until like 2 in the morning since we live like an hour away from where it was held. And then I just couldn't find the right motivation to write most if the day. But here it is, and I hope you like it! M'kay.
