I know I have one that's what song they relate to, but I felt like this could e a little better. Plus, I heard that lyric for Two and instantly wanted to do something like this.

Two-bit: "I told you dirty jokes until you smiled" -You May Be Right by Billy Joel
Everyone knows Two-bit has a great sense of humor, and he can be a bit crude at times, so this line just clearly defined him.

Johnny: "Yeah, we swore on the that night/We'd be friends 'til we died" -Everglow by Coldplay
Johnny only has his friends. His home life is crappy, so he looked to his friends for support, even in his last moments. (Okay, I'm sad now...)

Dallas: "Leave your love and your longing behind/You can't take with you if you want to survive" - Dog Days Are Over by Florence + The Machine
Life on the streets made Dally harden his heart. He had to put away all of his feelings to keep himself from breaking.

Sodapop: "When everything is meant to be broken/I just want you to know who I am" - Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls
Soda faced his fair share of grief, with his parents and two friends dying and his girlfriend leaving him, but he never wants anyone to think he's sad. He wants to be known as the guy that was happy all the time.

Steve: "We're young, living with no fear" - One of Those Nights by Shawn Mendes
Steve is so outgoing and outspoken. He has that invincible feeling all young people have at one point. He knows right now is the time to worry about.

Darry: "I got one foot in the golden life, one foot in the gutter" - Outer Space/Carry On by 5 Seconds of Summer
Darry had so much going for him. He was smart and a great athlete, but then he had to take over as dad for his brothers. Though he would do anything for his brothers, he still feels like he could do something better.
Ponyboy: "Our little group has always been/And always until the end" - Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
When Johnny and Dally died, Pony tried his hardest to convince himself they were still there. He finally let himself accept they were gone, but he realized that the gang would always be together, whether in body or in spirit.

I has a question. Is it bad that I only just watched Stand By Me for the first time this past weekend?

Since I watched it the first time, I've watched it three more times. I am in love!!! I've been looking for the book it's based on, but I haven't yet. I'm not done trying yet tho. Anyway, I brought it up bc I thought about doing a preference book for Stand By Me, and I feel like I came into the fandom way too late. Like most of the books I find we're last updated like a year or two ago.

Oh well. Would any of you guys read it if I did? M'kay.
