"No kissing where I can see you," your brother, Sodapop, declared, as he had just walked into the living room to find you and Steve, your boyfriend, kissing.
Soda was your twin brother, and Steve was his best friend, so Soda was always picking on you two.
You rolled your eyes. "Oh shut up." You snuggled into Steve's side. He played with your light brown hair.
"Look, Abs, I don't want things leading from kissing to anything else," Soda explained. "Especially on the couch. You know Darry'd have your ass if you messed around like that on the couch."
You all just laughed because you knew it was pretty much true. Darrel, your oldest brother, was pretty much a stickler about keeping the house in order. He wouldn't like to find out anything had happened on the couch.
Later that night, let's just say things got heated between you and Steve. And not in the angry, yelling-at-each-other heated. One thing led to another, and yeah.
It was the first time you two had done it, but it just felt like the time to do it because you two had been together for about a year, but you had known each other your entire lives.
It wasn't until a month later that you realized something wasn't right. You were starting to feel tired more than usual, and your monthly visitor was late.
You knew that there was a possibility that you could be pregnant, so you went with that hunch. You bought pregnancy tests and went home.
You took a deep breath before doing anything. "It's alright. Maybe they'll all be negative, and it's just a false alarm." Your attempts to reassure yourself didn't ease the tenseness built up all over you. "It'll be just fine."
You used three, just to make sure. Positive. All three of them.
You threw then all away, making sure to cover then up with other stuff. You then ran to the phone.
You dialed Steve's number and sat there while it rang. Then you heard "Hello?"
"Steve?!" you asked, a little louder than you probably should have.
"Oh, Abigail," he replied. "What's going on?"
"Look, you remember last month when we you know.." You looked around and whispered "did it."
"Mmhm..." he answered. "What about that besides how good I was." You just knew he was smirking, but this wasn't the time for that.
"Listen, Steve," you took a long, deep breath, "I'm pregnant."
I really really hope you like it! I'm sorry if this isn't how you wanted it. Thank you for requesting. Love you kiddos. M'kay.
