"Let's go somewhere," Sodapop, one of your best friends, suggested out of nowhere.
"What? Where?" you asked.
He shrugged. "I dunno. Anywhere. Come on. Let's just go."
You thought about it for a whole 20 seconds before relenting. You two grabbed random food items and other stuff that you may or may not need. You took one stop at the gas station to fill up before heading off.
Neither of you knew where you were going or where you wanted to go, you just went.
"This next exit, should we take it?" Soda asked, glancing at you from the driver's side.
You looked around. "Yeah. Why not?" You giggled, and Soda smiled his gorgeous smile.
After a few more miles, you two switched at a rest stop. You drove this time.
"Why'd you wanna get out so bad, Soda?" you asked, curiously.
"I'm not too sure. I guess I just wanted to be with you; just you and me." He smiled at you, and you could see the red creeping up his neck and at his ears.
You smiled back. There was a comfortable silence for a little while, and you decided to take advantage of it. You leaned over and swiftly kissed Soda's cheek before straightening up to pay attention to your driving.
Soda copied your actions by leaning over and kissing your cheek. He gave you a sly smile.
You found the nearest exit to find somewhere you could park. You two sat there in Soda's car, talking, kissing, snacking, and just enjoying each other's company.
As it started getting dark, you pulled back onto the highway and set course towards home.
When Sodapop dropped you off at your house, he pulled you towards him and connected his lips to yours. He pulled back slowly. "Y/N, will you be my girl?"
You smiled. "Of course, Sodapop. I'd love that."
Welp, here's another one! One more guys. And that's it. Gosh, that makes me sad. M'kay.
