In my list of dream places to visit, Greece would be at the top of that list along with New York. I remember spending most of my senior year just looking at photos of Greece and just dreaming that one day I'll find my way there.

We're here. We're finally here.

I remember stepping out of the plane and looking at you with the biggest smile on my face and you back at me. It was pretty late at night when we arrived, but I was still way too excited.

And, of course, the first thing we do once we arrived was head straight to the nightclubs. You probably don't remember much that happened last night because you were pissed drunk, but I remember everything.

We arrived at the club and you order two beers for us. You held your pint and said, "To Greece!"

I smiled and clinked my glass with yours and said, "To Greece!"

I'm not much of a party-goer, so all I did was sit at the bar and sip on beer while you took shot after shot and danced like crazy on the dance floor with a bunch of other people. It was safe to say you were drunk.

In the middle of your little dance party, you walked over to me, grabbed my hands, and tried to drag me to the dance floor. "What are you doing?" I asked you.

"Dance with me!" You said pulling me across the dance floor.

Once we were in the middle, you started dancing and I just stood there, laughing. Since you were already making a fool out of yourself by dancing, I decided I didn't want you to be a fool alone so I joined you in dancing.

When you were too drunk to function, I dragged you out of the club and headed back to our hotel. You threw up in the bathroom for quite some time. When you've finished, I sat you down on the chair and gave you a cup of coffee to help you sober up a little.

Once you felt better, I brought you to the bed. "Okay, go get some sleep."

"Where are you going?" You asked.

"I'm going to my hotel room to get some sleep too." I tell you with a small smile. We were staying in Greece for just a few days, so we just decided to get separate cheap hotel rooms.

"Do you have to?" You asked sleepily.

I chuckled, "We paid for it, so yes. Why?"

"Can you just stay with me? Just for tonight?" You asked quietly, slurring a little bit. You tapped on the space next to you, "Or just until I fall asleep?"

"Okay, but just until you fall asleep." I tell him as I got in bed next to him.

"I'm sorry if we can't stay here quite long." You said quietly, "I know this is one of the top places you want to visit."

I shrugged and looked at you. "It's fine. Three days is better than nothing, right?"

You smiled softly, "Still. I wish I could've done something to make us stay a little while."

I shook my head, "No, it's okay. Don't worry about it. I'm perfectly happy. Besides, we've got a few more places to visit. We have more than enough time."

"That's true." You sleepily said. "You know? I thought going on this adventure, I would not think about home at all. But I kind of miss it."

"Manchester?" I asked.

"Ireland." You smiled softly, "But yes, I do miss Manchester too."

"I do too. I mean, I love travelling and everything we've done in the past months have been amazing, but I do miss home. There's no place like it."
