***Amaya's POV***

Sanji and I started running back towards the Performance Floor to regroup with some of the others Straw Hat. It was about time to start wrapping up this war.

Once Zoro beat King, then we would only have to defeat the Emperors of the Sea who were present: Big Mom and Kaido.

Lu would handle Kaido, so all that was left was fighting Big Mom, which I would rather avoid. It wasn't scary or anything coming face to face with her, despite what me running for my life the last time I saw her may suggest. It was more awkward than anything.

I mean, how would you feel if a random powerful lady declared you a daughter-in-law without your consent? I could go on and on, but I suppose I've made my point.

"Ama? You okay? Your eye keeps twitching." Sanji stated to my left.

"Does it?" I questioned ruefully before I sighed. "Just thinking of someone who doesn't take a hint is all."

"Oh? Someone bothering you, again? I could have a talk with them." Sanji's fighting spirit flamed up as his voice calmly asked.

I shook my head. "Not a suitor, Sanji. At least, not directly. Those I can handle now. I've mostly sorted through my feeling at this point." I smiled excitedly at the thought.

It was true, and I couldn't wait to tell Chi who my decision was. That way she would finally stop her pestering of me choosing a man.

"Ama," Sanji called, grabbing my hand and pulling us to a stop. "There's something I've been meaning to bring up with you. Although, I'm not sure now is the best time, I'm not sure when would be."

Sanji pulled out a cigarette before starting to fumble ever so slightly with the lighter.

"The thing is-"

KABOOOOOM CRACK CLACKLE BOOM

The wall crashed through quickly followed by Kid and Law, landing near us. Their heaps of mess were ruffly breathing as Big Mom came through the opening.

"Mama Mama," she was laughing.

Racing over to the two, I called 'room' to quickly take stock of their injuries. I let my anger take control, allowing a couple tears to squeeze through my eyelids.

"Takt," I called, sending some of my tears to each of their mouths. The change was instantaneous in the two as the blood and bruises started to disappear.

Law coughed. "Ya-ya," he tone carried gratefulness despite the tense standoff between the four of us and Big Mom.

"Perfect timing, Red." Kid called to my right.

"Hey Sanji," I spoke, keeping my focus on the lady whose gaze was laser forced on me. "Sorry for the interruption, but we'll have to finish our conversation later. You should go meet up with the rest of the Straw Hats. The three of us got this."

"You sure? She'll take you back to her land in a heartbeat if she gets the chance." Sanji warned.
My jaw set in resignation. "Then I better not give her the chance. Go on. I'll catch up later. It's better not to focus all our forces on her."

"Oh?" Big Mom butted in. "You're quite feisty for my daughter-in-law."

I felt Law and Kid tense at her words with the help of the room before I decided to drop it and save stamina. I was already injured earlier from King, so there was no need to waste extra energy.

"As I'm sure I've already made quite clear," I start while drawing my sword from its sheath. "I am not nor ever will be your daughter-in-law. You have no control over me, and you will never have control over the element of air as long as I live."
