***Amaya's POV***
My first stop was food, and no, it's not for me... Well not all of it anyways. I decided that it would make a good piece offering to the person whose cell I was about to invade.
Snagging three poison-free fish from the kitchen, I disguise myself with scenery from the illusion fruit. It took way too much effort just to make it to the kitchen, acting like a normal guard. It simply wasn't worth the hassle when I can still hide in plain sight.
The hardest part was constantly surveying my surroundings, so I could continuously adapt my illusion to match. The effort was well worth it since the other option was an even larger hassle.
I made it to the interlocked iron-chained cell before tossing a pebble inside. As no one was around, not that it mattered, I roomed my way inside. However, I was quickly met with a chain wrapped around my neck cutting off my air supply.
I turned into smoke to escape to the other side of the cell, reclaiming my lost air. "I'm not the enemy." I state before coughing to help my throat. Leaning against the wall, I slide to sit on the ground. "What's with the wind getting knocked out of me today?" I whine.
Finally catching my breath, I look at the man who I was currently sharing a cell with. His skin was green, and his stature was short. He wore a large straw hat similar to that of a fisherman from the old days. Falling from underneath his large hat was a mane of orange hair that went past his waist.
His dirtied kimono was originally green with a pattern of twisted ropes swirling around. Over his kimono was a black cloak that was paired with a red scarf around his neck.
His narrowed eyes honed on me as I assessed him.
Standing up, I brush myself off. "I'm looking for a Kawamatsu. That's you correct?"
"What would you want with a kappa like him?" Kawamatsu questions.
"Kappa?" I question. "Is that another way to say Fish Man?" I wonder. Was this something that wasn't known in Wano since they were cut off from the outside world?
"Never mind that. What makes you think that I'm this Kawamatsu that you are looking for?" He redirects the line of thought.
"The fact that you've been locked up for many years. So long in fact that none of the guards know what is inside the cell. That-" I paused to give him a curious look. "I can tell that you're a kind person just by the fishbone that you used to save that new prisoner who joined today."
He stared at me for another minute, likely assessing the truth behind my words. He must have deemed me worthy enough as he gave a small sigh in reluctance.
"Very well. I am Kawamatsu." He admits; however, his guard was not lowered. "Now who are you?"
"Amaya Fukui at your service. I bring a message from Kinemon. The time has nearly come." I bring out a small piece of cloth with the meeting symbol that Kinemon devised for the secret message. Extending my hand, I hand it towards the Fish Man.
Double checking my stance to make sure my intentions weren't ill, he reluctantly took the cloth. After one more quick glance at me, he looked at the image that would tell of the upcoming uprising against Kaido.
His eyes glinted with a gleam of recognition. "This is indeed Kinemon's handiwork." He states with a small smile before looking at me. "Sorry for nearly strangling you earlier. I assumed you were their new method for killing me. Thank you for bringing me this message Fukui-san."
I smile. "No apologies necessary. I would have done something similar in your position, and please, call me Ama. Most people do at this point."
"Very well. What is the current plan of action then, Ama-san?"
