***Amaya's POV***
"Luffy!" Chopper's panicked voice nearly made me waver in my concentration.
Holding a prison yard sized 'room' with hundreds of people in it was no easy feat, especially when it's been over an hour at this point.
The guards had long since been dealt with, and all the prisoners had been freed. Chi had already returned with the wax key I made her before doing a victory flip and key drop.
Ace rejoined us soon after, watching over Lu's sorry state. That rubber headed numbskull still managed to infect himself with the virus even after all my efforts of keeping it out of reach.
Chopper was hard at work. He was researching the antidote and yelling at Lu simultaneously for being so stupid. It was inspiring to watch as I held everyone else's viruses at bay.
Since everyone's limbs that were affected were separated, it kept the virus from hitting their vital organs and life systems, but it didn't get rid of the pain produced in the contaminated areas.
"Hey Chopper," Ace interrupted his reiterated rant.
"Huh?"
"How much longer until it's ready? I don't think they're going to last much longer."
"W-What do you mean?" I questioned, irritated, unable to look at him due to fatigue. "Can't you see I'm keeping everyone infected from dying right now? What more can I do?!"
"Uhmm," I heard his hesitation. "I was actually talking about you."
I sigh in exasperation before mumbling. "I suppose picking up the pace wouldn't hurt."
"cHi cHI Chi?"
"Give me a break Chi." Tears started comically falling down my face. Why did it feel like they were ganging up on me? And I thought Chi was mad at Ace for some reason?
"I got it!" Chopper exclaimed in excitement, earning smiles and cheers all around.
I would have joined if I'd had the energy to do so, but my thoughts were there.
"Drink this Luffy!" Chopper forced the purple liquid through his lips mid-scream, forcing him to swallow the contents. Once Lu swallowed, he was KO'ed.
Momo and the old man worried about Lu's condition. I'll admit seeing Lu slowly turn into a skeletal version of himself was concerning.
"Don't worry. The medicine is working." Chopper informed them. "He'll get better soon."
"Hey Doc," I pant. "That's great news and all, but do you have enough of that stuff for everyone else yet? I need to drop this soon."
"Oh, right!" He went to grab another bottle of liquid that was much larger than the last. "Just get a mouth full into everyone's system, and it'll do the rest." He placed the bottle on the ground in front of me.
"Understood, Doc." I acknowledge. "Takt."
The bottle started to float within the large room barrier before the liquid came out of the bottle. The purple liquid portioned out into smaller sizes before entering different infected limbs as they started to reassemble into their original forms.
"Our bodies are back together!"
"I don't feel like I'm on fire anymore!"
"Yeah! The virus is going away!"
All the previous prisoners celebrated as I finished up the job. Once the last person reconnected with their legs, I dropped the prison yard sized room, collapsing on my knees.
