*** Amaya's POV ***
"Jimbe, are you sure you'll be fine on your own?" I questioned the fishman with Ace, Lu, and Greenie surrounding me.
"I'll handle things here. You get Luffy to the top." Jimbe struck one of his signature fishman karate poses. "I'll clear a path."
I grinned at the fishman as I got a grip on the men around me. "Lu, you'll need to be my backpack, so I can grab Ace and Greenie. Think you can work around my air board?"
"Shishishi, okay!" He stretched his rubber arms out and wrapped them around my toro and air board before sticking to me like a koala.
I smiled as I tightened my grip on Ace and Greenie'shands. "I'll leave it to you, Jimbe. We're going on ahead."
With that I activated the rumble before sending the four of us towards the top most floor of the island to meet with Kaido.
It wasn't long until we were at the top of the skull's head. Once we neared the Emperor of the Sea, I slowed us to a sudden halt, causing the guys to nearly faceplant before they planted their feet sturdily on the ground.
However, I'd forgotten that it wasn't just Kaido up here. Big Mom was present, too.
Lu jumped off my back, taking the lead. "Thanks, Ama."
"Well, we can't win till you've beat the man, so I figured we could speed things up a little." I tried to keep my tone light, dropping Zoro's hand.
"Good luck, you two. Ace and I are heading back to help the others."
Ace grinned at our hands still being together before my words registered. "Wait, what?!"
"Leave it to us," Zoro assured as his captain was already walking closer to Kaido, leaving Big Mom him.
I started to drag Ace towards the hole in the ground that led back to the performance floor. "Come on, Freckles. Marco is here, and he needs some backup in the form of firepower."
"Marco?! What's he doing here?" Ace's tone carried surprise and disbelief.
"He's currently keeping the plague from killing our allies, but he needs help. So, Firefist, we're going to help him." I declared, stopping at the edge of the drop. "You fine with jumping down on your own?"
Ace sighed, looking back at his brother for a moment. "Yeah, that's fine." He lamented, looking back at me. "Let's go."
We jumped high over the drop, aiming for the middle of the hole in ground. Below were ice oni, Queen, and more guards to battle, but once Ace and I arrived, it wouldn't be an issue. At least that was the plan, but before Ace and I cleared the top threshold, I was snatched out of the air.
"AMA!" Ace's shouted, but I was already too far away. He wasn't going to be able to help either since he'd already made the jump and was on his way to the bottom floor.
My lungs gasped to refill the air that escaped me from the impact of being snagged. Glancing down, I realized that I was being led higher into the air, and the culprit was none other than King.
My eyes locked on his narrowed ones before I smirked and dissipated into smoke to wrap behind his figure. "Finger Pistol." I jabbed five quick wounds in his side as I passed before grabbing my air board off my back to stand on.
Standing face to face with him in the air, we stared at one another. "To what do I owe this visit King?" I questioned. "Surely, you have better things to do?"
He flapped his wings in winged dragon form. King stayed silent for a moment before he spoke. "I've deemed you a nuisance, so I've come to get rid of you."
