I wonder what the world would be like
If everyone was kind
No war, no famine, no hatred
No-one left behind
Celebrating differences and helping
Those in need
Giving freely of our time and
Doing that good deed
I wonder if we could do it
Make the world a wondrous place
Paste a giant smile
Upon every single face
Yes there would still be hardship
Illness, hurt and death
But we would muddle through together
Doing good till our last breath
We could ease the pain and suffering
We could help others out
We would need no floods of tears
No-one to scream and shout
Some say that we need suffering
That torture creates art
But in my mind we can still create
Without the painful part
We will still be fun and joyous
Without someone to blame
I believe we need no agony
I wonder if you think the same
