* Alice's POV *

When we reached the group, everyone fussed over me asking me if I was okay over and over again. I told everyone I was fine, and that was the honest truth. I mean, sure, I was shaken up when I thought about what could have happened in that alley and I was definitely scared that Thomas would get hurt, but apart from that, I wasn't phased by what had happened.

During the taxi ride home, everyone stared out of the window blankly till it was their turn to get out when they would say goodnight.

Eventually, it was only Thomas and I left in the car.

"So are you going to be ok when you get back?"

"Yes I'll be fine. You could always come in for a bit if you'd like."

"Yeh sure."

I could see that we were getting closer to my house so I looked down to get my keys out of my clutch...but it wasn't there.

"Thomas do you know where my bag is?"

He gave me a confused look then realised something.

"I think you might of left it in the club after that guy grabbed you."

His eyes went darker when he remembered the event.

Ugh he was right, I had left it in the booth and obviously, no one had thought to pick it up.

"Darn it, that had my keys in and my phone! How am I gonna get in the house?! I'm so screwed..."

I buried my face in my hands then felt Thomas' arm slowly wrap around me, my cheeks turned a bright pink in response but luckily, he couldn't see it.

"It's ok, I'll handle it."

"How?"

"I'll just call the club and get your things back."

It dawned on me when he talked about calling the club that his phone was still in the alley.

"Oh my god Thomas I'm so sorry!"

"...what? Why?"

"I kinda left your phone in the alley...I swear it was an accident! The guy, he slapped me and I fell so the phone dropped out of my hand! Ugh I am so so sorry!"

"Woah woah Alice stop, it's ok I picked it up when you were...well...beating the crap out of that guy."

I was embarrassed at first but then I was able to laugh along with Thomas.

"Oh well that's good because I don't think I can afford to pay for a new phone never mind my own."

"Don't worry, we'll get it back. So, it looks like your going to have to crash at my house tonight."

If my cheeks weren't burning before then they certainly were now.

"Oh Thomas, you don't have to do that."

"Oh yes I do, and I want to."

"N-"

He smirked at me and placed his hand over my mouth so I couldn't speak. Was this seriously happening? Was Thomas suggesting that I stay over at his place?! A guy that looked like he could be a model for Calvin Klein was asking me to stay over at his place...wow. Of course he didn't mean it like that though, obviously he's not gonna try anything, but still, my heart thudded harder and I was about to hyperventilate.

"Your not getting out of this one, I think it's about time I got my way so you, Alice, are going to stay over at my house, no buts."

He gave the taxi driver his address and winked at me from the corner of his eyes. My cheeks were seriously on fire, I would have been surprised if his hand didn't feel the heat radiating from my skin.
