* Thomas' POV *

"Come on Thomas, it's cold and your not wearing a jacket."

Olivia had popped her head out of the door and waved me inside. She couldn't see the remaining tears that fell down my face because I was looking away. Before I headed back inside to return to the group, I wiped them away and pulled myself together.

Once we ate, we all got back into the car again. A few hours later, Luke said he wanted to pull over because everyone was tired.

"We are seriously wasting time here."

"Thomas, it's one in the morning, I can't drive any longer."

"I'll drive then."

"Thomas, I don't think Alice is going to carry out her plan as soon as she gets there."

"In fact, she'll probably be sleeping right now."

"..."

"Please."

"We all care for Alice but it's not good to do this when we're almost falling asleep."

"...okay then..." I sighed and lay my head on the back of the seat while Luke waited for somewhere to pull over.

The car took a turn off the road and parked on the grass. While the others tried to go to sleep, I sat on the bonnet of the car, unable to rest my eyes yet. It looked like I wasn't the only one for Zack had got out of the van and joined me.

"Hey."

"Hi Zack."

We sat in silence for a few moments before he opened his mouth to speak.

"I'm sorry."

"What for?"

"Trying to take Alice away from you. I understand how much she really loves you now."

"Yeh..."

"I've got over her now you know, I mean, sure I still feel something but...I have a different girl stuck in my head now."

"Olivia."

"...yeh."

"When did you realise? Was it when she kissed you?"

"Yeh it was. The kiss was different with her, I felt sparks this time."

"I'm happy for you."

"I really am sorry Thomas, for everything."

"It's okay, you couldn't help the way you felt."

"Yeh."

"..."

"Thomas?"

"Yes?"

"H-how much did it hurt when you found the letter?"

The question caught me off guard.

"..."

"It's okay if you don't want to tell me..."

"...Thank you."

"She's going to be okay you know."

"I can't help but feel like somethings going to go wrong."

We sat on the bonnet of the car for what felt like half an hour before Zack got up and brushed himself off.

"I'm gonna go and try to get some sleep."

"Okay."

"You should try to get some too."

"I know."
