* Thomas' POV *

It had been a few days since my date with Alice and I was going crazy. I needed to see her but I didn't want to look too keen, even though I blatantly was. Ever since our lips met, I craved them, the feel of them, the warmth, the taste.

Recently, I had been thinking about making it official...making Alice mine. I wanted her to be my girlfriend but I wasn't sure if it was too soon. To me, there was no time like the present but I don't know...we've only been on one date. So, to solve that, I decided to plan a few more dates with Alice before I asked her.

"Alice?"

The phone rang only three times.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Thomas."

"Thomas, how did you get my number?"

She giggled softly on the phone.

"Well I may have bugged the group into giving me your number..."

I heard her laugh on the other end of the phone.

"Well okay, is there a specific reason why your calling?"

"Yes there is actually, I'm taking you out on a date tomorrow afternoon."

"Is that a command?" She giggled.

"Well either way I'm taking you out so I suppose so."

"Wow Thomas, way to make a girl feel like she has a choice."

"Alice would you like to go on a date with me?"

"Hmmmm let me think about it..."

"Oh come on!"

"Ahh patience Thomas, patience."

"Alice will you go out on a date with me or not."

"...yes."

I smiled to myself.

"Good, I'll pick you up around 12."

"Sure, I'll see you then." I could tell she was smirking on the other line.

"See you."

She hung up after that so I pottered about with my business.

*  Alice's POV  *

Tomorrow afternoon came way to slow for my liking, but finally it had arrived.

I decided to wear a casual flower dress with a denim jacket and put a braid in my wavy hair.

Suddenly, the door bell rang so I grabbed my bag and raced down the stairs so fast that I barely touched the ground.

Thomas stood on the porch looking like a Hollywood movie star and looked up with his perfect green eyes.

"Hi Thomas!"

Okay I sounded way too eager...

"Hey Alice, have I ever told you how wonderful you look."

"Maybe not wonderful but you've certainly complemented me more than necessary."

"I disagree."

"Oh well."

We got into the car and drove to the same park where Thomas had found me singing in the rain. It was a sunny day so there were children running around and the flowers were standing tall in the soil.

"How about I get you an ice cream?"

"Hell yeh!"

I jumped out of the car and briskly made my way to the Mr Whippy truck.
