Until Dawn (Josh x OC)

Chapter 6: Courage.

Josh immediately opened his mouth in shock, as his mouth formed into a large frown, which hurt me greatly.

"I am sorry." Josh said as a tear rolled down his cheek, as he looked directly in my hurt eyes.

As soon as he finished those words, he fell to the ground becoming unconscious, by mikes strong fist."you are going to fucking pay." He shouted.
I ran over to josh quickly, afraid of him being hurt, even though he had hurt us all extremely.

There was blood dripping from his nose which dropped down onto the floor, I bent down to his body, to check if he was okay, to see if he was breathing. I didn't want him to leave me.

"Why did you hit him so hard?" I questioned mike, as I had realised that I still cared for josh, mainly because I knew that josh had only done this because of the pain and the issues he was going through from the last time with Hannah and Beth. He definitely was stuck in a dark place, surround by depression, isolation, and psychotic thoughts. His sanity was lost, as he grew to become insanely, but I only wish that I can bring him back.

Chris and Mike grabbed Josh's arms and dragged him out of the lodge, I didn't know what to do but I could see Ashley shaking in her chair, she seemed white and almost becoming ill. I had to talk to her, even though I wanted to run after josh.

"Ashley..are you okay?" I asked her.
She fainted as she hit her head against the table, I started to freak out as I didn't know what I could do to make the situation better, and to help Ashley with her health.

I picked up her head to check if her head was hurt badly. Luckily I saw a bottle of water on the table, I put a little bit of it on her face trying to wake her up a bit, which worked.

"Take a sip." I gave her a drink of ice cold water, she re-gained her original colour as she got her breathing pattern back to normal.

Chris had returned, with a face of shock. He ran over to Ashley quickly.
He stood far away from her, obviously because of his awkwardness.
"Just give her a hug and help her." I said as I grabbed his arms and put them around her.
He followed my instructions as he even went further as to kissing ashley. It was nice to finally see them be close, like they have both always wanted to be.

I smiled as I saw them finally acting out there feelings for each other.
Mikes shouting voice was loud even from the lodge, I could only assume he was shouting at josh. Before I tried to find josh, I checked up on Sam and got her out of her restraints also.

"Chris. Where is josh and mike?" I asked him as quickly as I could.
"The shed. On the left." He said slowly, being distracted by Ashley.

As soon as I heard those words, I rushed outside into the cold harsh weather. Everytime I re-join in the uncomfortable snowy weather, I feel my chest start to ache again from the coldness.

The crunching sound in the snow used to be a comforting sound, now it had become a terrifying sound. Almost as if one wrong step could end up your life being on the line.

The shed that was very close to the lodge I had reached. It was still so cold and I realised I wasn't wearing my t-shirt still, I was just relieved that mike let me borrow his coat (which I still needed to give back), otherwise I would have freezed to death in this painfully cold weather.

The door creaked loudly as I swung the door open, I noticed josh was tied up against a wooden post, whereas mike stood opposite him holding a gun in his hands.

"Mike? What the hell?" I shouted as I tried to grab the gun from him.
"I need it..just incase." He said as he glared down at josh with an uncertain look.
