Until Dawn (Josh x OC)

Chapter 30: The Important Question.

"We are now arriving at New York..please remember to not leave anything in your seats, the plane needs to be clean and empty for the next passengers."

The women's voice awaken us both from our deep sleep, as I felt josh cling onto my body side tightly.

"What's wrong?" I asked him worriedly.
"N-nothing, just a bad dream."

After getting off the plane, we tiredly stumbled to the nearest hotel, needing to get some sleep and to plan out what we were going to do.

I managed to get a romantic room for the both of us, at the top of the hotel where we got to look down onto the beautiful sights of new york's city life.

"It's so busy here.." I said as I grabbed my key and opened up the hotel room.

Josh ignored me, as he awkwardly played with his hands. Josh seemed so mute and it frightened me a little.

I waited until I had shut the hotel door before I asked him what was wrong.

"Josh..are you okay?" I asked him nervously, afraid of some sort of rejection.
"Yeah I am for." He said nervously and bluntly.

Josh sat down onto the bed sighing loudly. He held his head in his hands, trying to stop his nerves.

I sat down next to him, confused at his sudden mood change.
"There is obviously something wrong." He quickly shook his head, anxiously as a reply.

"Please tell me josh..I tell you everything." I put my hand on his leg, as I massaged him slightly.
He closed his eyes in relief, as he wrapped his arms around my body, pulling me down so that we were laying down onto the soft bed.

He didn't say a word about how he was feeling to me, he just rested his head onto my chest, as he closed his eyes trying to relax.

I kissed his forehead gently, as I put my arms onto his back, so I could hold onto him tightly.

"Seriously though josh, what's wrong." I questioned him, worriedly.
"I am just feeling so overwhelmed..at least you are here." He said sweetly, as he kissed my chest softy.
"You need some sleep.." I said truthfully, as I ran my fingers through his soft hair.

He agreed by humming, "Although, I think there is something else we could do. Something a bit more fun." He said seductively, as he moved his body up, so his head was next to mine.

I felt his lips passionately attack mine, as I closed my eyes in pleasure.

"I love you.." I muttered as he stopped the kiss. "I love you more." He said jokingly.

Before josh could go any further, he stopped us being silly, as he gripped onto my hips pulling me up from the bed.

"Ugh..what are you doing?" I asked him confusedly, as I was tired.
"I think we deserve to celebrate today..lets find one of the most fancy restaurants in town, we can celebrate that bastard being locked up, he can no longer go near my girl." Josh said with a wink, as he spun me around.

"Am I 'yours' now, am I?" I said whilst laughing, which made josh smirk.
"I hope so..I like to say that you are mine, because I still can't get over the fact that you are actually giving me a chance."

My heart sunk as I felt some sort of sorrow and pity for him.
"You are blinded by your disbelief, you need more self-esteem. I find it quite cute how you think of it like this."
"I just don't want to lose you ever again." He said quickly.
"Neither do I." I said as I pecked his lips quickly.

I left josh to unpack my suitcase. Luckily, I brought a fancy dress to wear just incase for a special occasion, which I decided to wear out today.
