Chapter 29: Finally Free

I could see josh standing at the end of the line, waiting for me to leave. He wanted to see me go before I left.

There was now only one more person in front of me in the line, as I turned around to wave to josh goodbye. Until I noticed someone standing a couple of people away from me in the line.

It was James.

Josh turned his back slightly away from us, that's when James pushed in front of people to get to me.

He grabbed onto my wrist tightly, holding me to his side.
"Two tickets to New York flight." He said in a relaxed tone, as if this was normal.

I haven't see him in so long, and the fear of him hurting me made me mute, as I couldn't call out for help.

I felt powerless.

He smirked at me, as I could feel my heartbeat starting to drop, I was getting into another panic attack.

"H..hel..help m-" I said trying to catch my breath from the panic attack in fear, as I begged the person behind the till to see my terror.

"What?" She asked me worriedly.
"She asked how long do you think the flight will be, sorry she has got some problems with flying, it catches your breath away doesn't it baby." He said weirdly, as if we were a happy couple.

I looked back hoping to find josh to help me, as I felt like I was numb, completely frozen and stuck in place.

Almost as if I was a statue. It felt as if josh was feeding off my fear, as he got more confident, the more I had panicked and lost my breath.

There was no sight of josh, and I started to get worried. "We are going to have one hell of a night babe." He whispered in my ear, which made me start to cry.

I couldn't control my body, only the tears that were escaping from my red eyes.

When the person behind the till had to collect some paper forms, he took the opportunity to taunt me.
"Who can hear you shout now Lauren? Nobody. Because nobody cares. Josh doesn't love you."

"It's almost sexy how frightened you are of me..anyway, we are going to have a great time in New York." He whispered in my ear, as he started to laugh loudly.

"L-leav-" My voice suddenly stopped from fear, until I finally had the courage to defend myself.
"Awh speak up Lauren, I can't hear you." He said whilst laughing, joking about my loss of speech from panic.

"Leave me alone, James. I don't need someone else help me to deal with you, because I am not afraid of you anymore."

"You don't scare me." I shouted, as I slapped my hand across his face leaving a red mark.

I forgotten his strength at this point, as he tightly grabbed my wrist after slapping him, as he twisted it backwards.

It hurt immensely, and I wasn't strong enough to stop him.
"Now you do as I say, or I will hurt you even harder-"

He couldn't finish his threaten, as I could see someone grab him by his neck and throw him to the ground. It was josh.

He looked at me concerned and upset, as he seemed furious with James.

Josh's large hands dragged him away from the line and into the middle of the airport, as he punched him a couple of times.

"Now you fucking stay away from my girl, or I will kill you." He shouted, as he rolled him over so his stomach was on the floor and his back was facing him. He grabbed his hands and held them together behind his back, as I noticed police officers who were already at the airport rush over to them.
