Chapter 25: Defensive.

A sudden knock on the door woke both me and josh up, as I jumped.

"Guys..come on. Go home now." I heard mike shout, he obviously didn't know it was us, and I felt randomly nervous.

We heard him leave which calmed me down a little bit.

"Oh god..we better go." I said to josh tiredly, as I yawned.
"Yeah.." He said whilst closing his eyes again, falling back asleep.

I got up from his side, as I picked up my underwear and put them on.

Josh had fallen back asleep which made me laugh, as I put on my clothes quickly.

"Seriously guys..come on, get out." I heard mike shout, as he was trying to open the door.

I ran over to josh who was still asleep. "Josh.." I whispered as I shook him which managed to wake him up.

He realised mikes anger, as he put on his boxers quickly. He didn't have time to put on his clothes, so he picked them up, as we walked to the door.

Josh unlocked the door, as he stumbled out tiredly, closing his eyes slightly from his tiredness.

Mike was standing outside the door, as he noticed josh leave the room with only his boxers on, as I followed closely behind him.

"Oh.." Mike said confused and shocked, as his mouth was left open slightly in surprise.

He looked at us with disbelief, "Sorry man." Josh said huskily, with his morning voice.
"No..it's okay." He said still sounding shocked.

I kept looking down at the floor, not wanting to look up mainly from embarrassment.

Josh put his arm around my waist, as we walked downstairs. I saw pete and Hannah asleep. Pete had fallen asleep lying down on Hannah's lap which made me laugh.

I let go of josh as I walked up to them.

I playfully hit Pete's arm, as he opened his eyes slowly. "I am going back home now..so go whenever you two want to go." I said as I pointed between him and Hannah.

"Where are you going? How are you getting back?" He asked me concerned, and that's when josh walked up to me.

He was still only wearing just his boxers as he protectively put his arm onto my hip. "She's getting a drive back with me."

"Yeah, so I will see you later maybe? If you want to come down..or I will see you tomorrow down the studio." I said to Pete, reassuring him that I want to see him later.

"Y-yeah sure.." He muttered, looking shocked and surprised as he figured out what had happened, and how I am talking to josh again.

"Tell Hannah where I went as well. See you later Pete." I said with a smile, as I walked off with josh.

Josh walked me to the passenger side of the car, as he opened the door for me. "Thank you." I said as I entered the car.

"You look so stupid." I muttered as I couldn't stop laughing.
"Thanks.." He said un surely.
"You are walking around everywhere just in your boxers." He started the car engine as we drove down the open streets, there were hardly any cars around for some reason.
"That's because I can." He said with a smirk, as I rolled my eyes.

He drove me back home to my place. It felt so odd to walk into my apartment with josh by my side again, it felt like deja vu because it has been so long.

We got to my apartment door, as I remembered something, he was about to open the door until I stopped him.

I turned him around so that I was leaning against the door instead of him.

"Woah..what's wrong?" He asked me, confusedly.
I put my hands on his shoulders, as I pretended to act seriously.
"I have a special person that I want you to meet." I said slowly.

He raised an eyebrow in confusion as he seemed utterly puzzled, "okay..?"

I opened the door as I shouted out a name, "Alfie!" As soon as he heard a guys name leave my mouth, he looked at me completely confused.

Until my little puppy came running up to him. A smile popped onto his face as he bent down to the floor to pat the dog.

"Why didn't you tell me that you got a dog!" He said astonished, as he picked up the dog cutely.
"Well..we weren't really speaking.." I said awkwardly as I scratched the back of my neck.

He gently put Alfie back down onto the floor, as he walked up to me.

"I can't believe I didn't speak to you for a month. It seems so unbelievable." I nodded my head in agreement.

"It will never happen again." He pulled me into a tight hug, as I rested my head on his shoulder.

Alfie's barks ran through our ears, as he started to jump up our legs, scratching at our feet.

"I think he is jealous." Josh laughed.

I let go of Josh's hug as I collapsed onto my couch. I didn't care that josh was here anymore, as I had just felt extremely tired.

Josh jumped on top of me, but I didn't even open my eyes from my tired state.

His soft lips made me jump slightly in surprise. "Hey." I said jokingly, as I murmured through his lips.

"I am so tired. I could just fall asleep right now." I stated in an obvious tone.
"I wonder why you are so tired?" He smirked as he put his hand on top of my forehead.

My cheeks reddened which made him laugh, quietly. "That was a good fucking night. In fact that was probably the best might of my life."

He bent down to my ear as he whispered sweetly, "I had dreamt of doing that for so many years with the only person I had loved from every inch of their body..to finally have control over your beautiful..hot and perfect body."

I felt him kiss my cheek softy, as I turned my head slightly to kiss his lips.

After the kiss, we both just laid down in silence, taking in the perfect moment, lying in each others arms.

Josh noticed that I started to fall asleep, as he got off of me, and walked over to my kitchen table.

"W-what are you going?" I questioned him, wondering why he was leaving me.
"It's a surprise, just don't worry about it. Go to sleep baby." He said sweetly, as I heard him pick up his keys.

"Oh okay." I said curiously, but I couldn't care too much because I was so tired.

So I decided to sleep, I was confused yet excited for his surprise, but the main thing I needed was a rest.

Since I still feel like my emotions were all over the place.
