Chapter 12

~Katlyn's P.O.V~

We finished up with my hair. My mum and Lou loved it. I must say it was really cute. We left the hair salon and went to Hollister.

I we bought a bunch of clothes for the summer. But being me... I only bought clothes that covered my wrists and thighs.

"Katlyn. I know I wanted to spend the day with you.. But that's not the only reason. It's also about the baby. What are you going to do. I know you weren't planning on going to Law school until next year, but what about the baby?" She asked.

"Mom. Don't you think I have this figured out. I'm still going to go to Law school. I'll get Linda. Or I'll hire a nanny. I have enough money on my own from my job." I said. yes I still work. I just got time off because of the baby.

"What about a father. He or she can't grow without a dad."

"Well he or she will have their uncle Louis here. And their loving grandma." I said smiling. Louis smiled at the fact I called him the uncle.

"What about your father and Jake?" She asked.

"Dad tried to talk me into an abortion" Louis and my mom stared in shock.

"Why did he do that?" Louis asked.

"He told me that i'm 18 and I have my whole life a head of me. And that having this thing will ruin my life and that it wouldn't be easy to take care of it." i said "Then I said it became hard the moment I found out because I feel awful and think about the payments. But then I said it's worth it because it's my child. And I'm not about to kill my baby. And I can still go to Law school. If not I'll become a musician because I love to sing and play guitar. Or become a dancer"

They nodded. "And Jake... I- I can't tell you" I said. He threatened to beat me 10x worse than he already does if I told. I would be dead if that happened.

"Since when couldn't you tell me anything. You tell me everything?" My mum asked.

"I just can't. I promised I wouldn't" I lied, somewhat. She decided to leave it at that. That's what I love about her. She isn't a Nosey person.

We all decided to head home. My mum dropped us off then left.

When we got there the other boys were gone already. I found a note that said they were going because Harry wanted them. I crumpled up the paper and threw it aside.

"Guess its just your and me" I said to Louis. "What shall we do?"

"I wanna get to know you better" he said. I nodded and we took a seat on the couch.

"You first" I said. He told me his life story. And when I say that, I literally mean his LIFE STORY his ENTIRE life story. He told me about his friends family fans... Everything. He completely opened up to me. Well now I feel like I can trust him a bit more.

"Your turn" he said.

"Okay. My full name is Katlyn Jay Walters but people call me Kat. I play guitar and piano. I sing, for fun. It's nothing to serious. Love to dance. I play football and baseball. My fav colour is purple. I have mild depression. I cut. My birthday is May 17. I graduated from school a month early (a/n I don't know they're school terms so I'm going American standard) my best friend is Anne. She was my only friend until you guys came along. My parents are rich. Well, most of my family is. That's basically all you need to know" I said.

"Can you sing something for me?" He asked.

"Uhh... I don't know. The only ones who've heard me sing is Linda my mom and Uncle Si." I said. He pouted.

"Pwetty Pwease" he said in a baby voice giving me puppy dog eyes.

"Ugh fine" I said. I began to sing 1000 years by Christina Perri.

"Heart beats fast.

How to be brave.

How can I love when I'm afraid

"That was actually really good. You have a hidden talent" he said.

"I like to sing. I might take it into a career, but I don't know if I'd go far in it. I'm better off as a dancer" I said.

"Well you sound fabulouis." He said smiling.

"You had to say that didn't you"

"Yes I did" he said.

"So what now?" I asked.

"Let's have a sleep over. I've never had one with you. Please. We can play the truth or dare!" He said excited.

"What are you gonna sleep in?" I asked.

"My boxers. I always do" he said chuckling.

"And what will you wear tomorrow?"

"I'll wash these tonight so I can wear them" he said. I nodded. I got two sleeping bags seeing as we will be in the living room. Just then Anne walked through the doors.

"What's going on?" She asked.

"Sleep over! Wanna join?" I asked.

"Course. Be down in a bit. By the way, nice hair" she said and headed upstairs.

"Thanks" I shouted out to her.
