Chapter 2

~Katlyn's P.O.V~

-about 1 1/2 years later-

I was on my way to work right now. I work at Hollister. I loved my job, kind of. It paid good.

While I was walking I was pulled into an alley. I looked up and my eyes filled with fear.

It was Mark and Jake. Just what I need at this time- note the sarcasm.

"Where do you think your going you little slut" Mark said slamming me up against the wall. I saw Jake smirk before throwing a punch straight to my stomach. I gasped for a breathe but couldn't get any.

Mark then punched me in the face and kicked in the legs. I fell to the floor in pain. They began kicking me repeatedly until I started coughing up blood.

They both kicked me in the stomach once more before walking off laughing. Why do they do this to me! Me and Jake got along pretty good until Zayn and Louis came along.

I couldn't even get up. I began to cough up more and more blood. Everything began to go blurry and then went black.

~Zayn's P.O.V~

After me and Lou were in X Factor we became a band. One Direction. We were in it with 3 others. Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne. We were all best friends.

We were in bradford right now. As we were walking I heard Liam scream out something.

"Oh my god! guys get over here!" he shouted from the corner of an alley. We all rushed over and saw a girl lying lifeless on the floor covered in blood. It was her...

I don't even know why I bullied her. I was just mad that day and took my anger out on her. And after that me and Lou kept beating her for no reason. Then her brother and Mark joined.

Harry Niall and Liam all rushed to her side. If you remove all the blood, she's actually a really beautiful girl.

~Louis' P.O.V~

No way! It's her! Katlyn. She looked in really bad condition. She was actually really beautiful.

I could tell Zayn was just as shocked as I am. I heard ambulence sirens and saw one pull up behind us.

They put her on a stretcher and into the ambulence.

"Can I go with her" i blurted out. Zayn stared at me in shock and anger.

"Are you family?" one of the paramedics asked.

"Uh.. no" I replied.

"Any form of relation?" he asked

"shes my best friend." i said. "her family isn't here right now"

The girl paramedic nodded. Zayn look was now shock anger and jealousy?

I hopped into the back of the ambulence. The boys said they'd meet us there.

"Whats her name?" the girl asked.

"Katlyn Walters" i said.

"do you have her parents number?" she asked.

"just her older brothers" I said giving her the number. She called him and said to put his parents on.

She explained to her parents what had happened and I could hear one of them crying in the background.

When we got to the hosptial they told me to stay in the lobby. I then saw the other boys rushing in and her parent's.

"Where is Kat? is she okay?!" Mrs. Walters asked worriedly.

I pointed in the direction of the room they took her too and her parents ran off.

After about 30 minutes of sitting around with the guys her parents finally came back out. They said we could go into her room and that they were leaving.

We entered her room and saw her sitting up on her bed just staring off into space.

"Are you okay?" Niall asked concerned as he went up to her.

"uh... yeah.. sorry but who are you guys?" she asked as she took a look at all of us.

As she came across me and Zayn her eyes filled with fear.

As soon as we got closer her eyes filled with tears and she hid her head in between her hands.

"p-please d-on't hurt me" she stuttered out. The boys gave us a confused look.

"You know her?" Harry asked.

"Well... sorta" Zayn said.

"How do you know each other?" Liam asked Katlyn. She was about to say something but me and Zayn shot her death glares.

"I- um... we.. uh. went to school together" she stuttered again.

"Why'd you say please don't hurt me to them?" Niall asked.

Again we shot her death glares. Became a habbit.

I guess Harry noticed. "Zayn Louis you didn't!" He shouted angrily.

He looked back at her for a response. "They... were my.. bullies for a few years" she mumbled.

"Zayn Louis what is wrong with you?!" Niall shouted.

"What did they do to you?" Harry asked her.

"They beat me. Along with my brother and another. They were the ones that sid this" she said in a low tone.

"you guys actually beat a girl?! what the hell is wrong with you!" Liam yelled at us.

Me and Zayn sent her another death glare. She pulled her blanket over her head and I could hear her sob. Now I feel bad.

I don't even know why we bullied her.
