Chapter 26

~Katlyn's P.O.V~

I was now out of the hospital. My parents came and got me and Darcy. We were on our way home and I saw a bunch of people on my lawn. They were holding up a massive banner that says 'WELCOME HOME!' Aww. How sweet. They threw me a welcome back party!

Me Darcy and my parents got out of the car. It seemed like the ENIRE family was here. And my family was huge!

Everyone came rushing over to us. They all either hugged me or kissed my forehead. I know it sounds rude, even though they're my family, I don't remember half of them...

I carried Darcy inside to the nursery room that Linda the maid set up for me. She did an amazing job. I was putting Darcy down in the crib when I heard someone behind me say "congrats"

I jumped and whipped around to see Zayn. He chuckled slightly. "Jeez Zayn you gave me a heart attack" I said putting my hand over my chest.

"Sorry" he said still laughing slightly.

"So why aren't you down with the crowd?" I asked.

"They left. It's just the boys here now" he said. "And there is something I have wanted to tell you for a while now"

"What is it?" I asked. He came closer to me and kissed me. I was quick to kiss back. There were so many sparks going off right now and so many butterflies in my stomach I swear it can burst.

"I like you- no... I love you. I have for a while now..." He said looking into my eyes.

Did I just hear that right?!

"Zayn I...." I looked down at me feet and smiled. "I love you too"

I looked up to see him smiling from ear to ear.

He leaned in and kissed me again.

"So Kat. Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked.

I love him but... I don't feel ready to open my heart up to date someone.

What should I say...

I went with what I knew was right.

"Of course Zayn" I smiled and kissed him again.
