"I want to be a Runner though!"

Minho slaps himself in the face and groans loudly, "I already told you no!"

"Minho! Please!" I beg him, laying my head down on his lap and extend my legs out on the long bench. "I don't want to be a Track-Hoe. It's boring! I want to run free in the win and let my hair fly loosely behind me as I sing with my beautiful voice and-"

Minho slaps his hand over my mouth as he looks down at me, my brown hair spilled out across his lap. He leans down close to my face and smirks,

"No." he whispers.

I laugh and slap his face, "You're such a nerd, Minho."

He rolls his eyes, "Hurry up shank and choose a job. Alby wants to know already."

I look up at him and slap his face again, "Runner."

He slaps my face softly, "Track-Hoe."

"Runner."

"Track-Hoe."

"Runner."

"No."

"Please."

"No."

"Minho!" I groan, "I want to be a Runner."

"No." he repeats again.

I dig myself deeper into his lap and whine, "Why not? I want to help!"

Minho shakes his head and starts running his fingers through my hair as he speaks softly, "I just don't want you to get hurt."

I keep my mouth shut and grab his hand from my hair and intertwine them in a friendly manner, "Minho, I promise I'll try not to get hurt. Like, really try. Swear it. Just give me a chance to prove you."

He looks up before nodding his head, "Okay. But just be a Track-Hoe for the next few weeks and then you can start training with me. Alby just needs you to have a job whilst you work towards something else."

I shriek in joy and lean up towards him and grab his face before pressing my lips to his cheek, "Yes! Thank you!" I scream.

He huffs in annoyance but his cheeks turn a soft shade of pink, "Sure, shank. Just garden and klunk for a couple of weeks. But be warned, I train hardcore."

I laugh at him and stare at the colorless sky, "I can handle it. Trust me."

I lay there on top of him for awhile as the sky gets darker and the day faded away. Torches are lit up all around us, illuminating the green grass and buildings around us.

"When does the new greenie come up?" I ask him.

"Couple of weeks. Maybe two? Hopefully things go back to normal, unless they send up another girl." he adds.
