After I carve my name into the wall, Alby gives me the rest of the Tour, explains some more things to me, and then lets me go off on my own for the day. I spend the day napping in my hammock, then I go to the Homestead for dinner at dusk. I get my food and sit off to the side, by myself. I'm kinda hoping to be alone this time. I've got a lot to process.

Of course, that doesn't happen.

Newt puts his food down and sits next to me. "Hey greenie, how you feeling?"

"I've told everyone else, I'll say it one more time. Do. Not. Call. Me. Greenie."

"Everyone gets called greenie at some point, Coyote."

I roll my eyes. "Fine."

Minho says "is it possible you're actually half coyote? And that's why you're named Coyote? You eat like one, you're fierce like one, you could totally be half coyote."

I also can hear like one. And smell.

"You caught me."

Newt says "seriously?"

I nod. "Rawr!"

They both laugh.

"By the way, you're working in the gardens tomorrow."

I sigh. "Ugh, work."

"It's not that bad."

I roll my eyes. "Whatever."

Minho says "I'm gonna be watching your behavior, I wanna see if you're actually half coyote."

"Minho, being half coyote isn't a thing."

"How do you know? You don't remember anything."

"I think I'd remember if I'm half coyote."

Newt says "maybe that's why you remembered it."

"Guys I'm not half coyote."

I take a bite of my sandwich and finish it within three minutes. "Alright, I'm tired, night guys I'm going to sleep."

Newt says "night Coyote, see you in the morning."

I nod and get up. I go into my hammock that I set up in the Deadheads and lay down. I close my eyes, and after only a few minutes, I fall asleep.
