**A/N this is a really short chapter it's just kinda a filler because I had a really bad day but it's Friday so I've gotta update
After work that day, when I'm sitting against a tree at the mouth of the Deadheads, Thomas walks up to me. "I swear to god I know you from somewhere."
I sigh and shrug. "I don't know."
"You don't remember anything?"
"I got memories when I got stung by a Griever but that's it."
He sighs. "How are you people happy here?"
"We're not happy. I guess we're... content."
"Well how are you content?"
"Everyone's got their ways. For some people it's their job, some it's something they do."
"And... what's your source of contentment?"
"My brother. And my boyfriend."
He sighs. "Well I've got no sibling in here and I'm not gay so I won't have either of those."
"Then I guess find something that distracts you. Just, not something bad."
He nods slightly. "Okay..."
I look up at him, and for a moment our eyes meet.
"I do know you."
I nod. "Yes, you do." I look down at the ground and say "but not for good reasons."
"How do I know you?"
I sigh. "I-I'm not exactly sure." Wait, what? Something's making me say that...
"Well if you figure it out, let me know?"
I nod. "Just keep it to yourself, please?"
He nods. "Got it."
"Thank you. It's getting late, let's go eat."
He nods, and we stand up to go to the Homestead.
