My eyes fly open and I see Newt sitting at the foot of my bed.
"About time you woke up. Been a couple days."
"Days?!"
He nods. "You needed the sleep."
My stomach rumbles, and I realize I haven't eaten in over a week. "Hey uh, can you go get me some food?"
He nods again. "I'll be right back." He gets up and leaves the room.
I sit back and think about the dreams. No-not dreams. Memories. Those were memories. They have to be. That means that the next greenie will be Thomas. And the next after him will be Teresa. Finally, another girl. But what really bothers me is Aris. So, I had another boyfriend?
Aris sends his love, Teresa's voice says in my mind.
Teresa! I think.
No response.
...Aris...?
He can't speak into your mind, Thomas's voice says. Chancellor Paige forbids it. Thinks he might tell you the way out of the Maze.

No response. So, there is a way out.
We know the way, the words ring through my mind.
