"Where was Scott? Where was Lydia? Where was Stiles? Where was Malia?" you thought to yourself. Everyone was gone.
Liam was supposed to be in the basement with Scott's mom, you, Mason and Hayden but he disappeared. Hayden was laying on the table, dying. Scott's mom was doing everything she could to help her stay alive but she had no idea how to do that, none of us did.
"Is she dying?" Mason asked Mama McCall.
"Yes, someone needs to go find Liam. She doesn't have much time" Scott's mom confessed to you and Mason.
"I'll go" you said. You had no idea where Liam was but you figured he was probably somewhere in the school trying to find Scott.
Liam was mad at Scott because he wouldn't bite Hayden and with the Super Moon, Liam was even angrier.
You rushed as fast as you could to the school and you ran around looking for Liam. You headed down the library hallway and heard people fighting. You ran as fast as you could and opened the library doors. Liam was attacking Scott, Scott was on the ground, bleeding. Liam had his claws out and began to scratch Scott.
"LIAM, STOP" you yelled. "What are you doing?" you asked him. "Y/N?" Liam asked. You pulled Liam off of Scott, "Stop this. You need to go see Hayden, she's dying Liam" you explained to him. Liam booked it out of the library. Theo came out of nowhere, "Why did you have to come so soon?" he said to you. "Now I have to be the one to kill him" said Theo. You stood in front of Scott, "Get away Theo" you warned him. "Or what? The little human girl is going to do what?" Theo asked. You punched Theo on the face, he held his face and laughed, "Nice punch but it's not good enough." Theo punched you and you fell to the floor, hitting your head.
Theo went up to Scott and pulled his claws out, Theo stuck them into Scott and pushed them farther in. He was killing Scott. "Who is stronger now?" Theo said to him. Theo clawed Scott some more and then left. Scott was bleeding out on the floor.
"Oh my god, Scott" you said as you rushed towards him. You pulled him off of the stairs and laid him on your lap, you took off your jacket to stop the bleeding.
Scott wasn't breathing, you tried to help him but there was nothing you could do.
"SCOTT" Mama McCall cried out, she ran to his body and started doing CPR.
"You need to go help Liam, Y/N" she said to you.
"No, I can't leave Scott" you replied.
"Scott is an alpha, a strong one, he will be fine. Go get Liam" Mama McCall said to you.
You slowly got up and looked at Scott, "He will be fine" she told you again.
"But" you said.
"Scott will be fine, but Liam, he needs you" she told you.
You slowly got up, keeping your eyes on Scott, "I'll be back" you told them.
You rushed out of the library and went to find Liam.
Liam was laying on the floor of the basement, with Hayden's lifeless body in his arms. He wasn't crying, he looked like he was paralyzed with shock. "Liam..." you said rushing to his side. "Oh Liam" you said.
"She's gone" Liam muttered, "She's really gone."
The next thing that happened was, Jordan Parrish came in and took her body. Liam looked at Hayden one last time, kissed her forehead and handed her over to Parrish. Parrish walked out with Hayden.
You flung your arms around Liam and held him tight. "Liam, are you okay?" you asked him. Liam stared into space and didn't say a word. "Come on, let's get you cleaned up" you told him. You helped Liam walk out of the basement and to your car, you were going to bring him to your house to get him washed up and let him sleep. The next week weeks would be an emotional rollercoaster for him, and being the older, protective friend you were going to be there every step of the way.
On the way to your house, Liam sat in the seat, still staring off into space, he looked lost, confused and completely out of it. He was in a catatonic state, he would not say anything, and he barely even blinked. The poor guy was heartbroken and sad.
You opened the door for him when you arrived at your house, you had to physically take him out of the car, and carry him up to the bathroom. You sat Liam down on the toilet and began to take a wet washcloth and wipe his face and arms. Liam looked at you but when you looked at him, you saw nothing. He wasn't mentally with you at all.
"How is Liam?" Mason asked you over the phone.
"He's in a catatonic state, Mase. I don't know what to do" you told Mason.
"The best thing to do is just be there for him, like you are doing right now" Mason replied.
"How's Scott?" you asked Mason.
"Alive, his mom was able to revive him and he's fine. He's strong Y/N, he's Scott" said Mason.
"Keep me updated on Scott, I'll keep you posted on Liam" you told him.
"Sounds good, later" Mason responded.
After cleaning Liam up, you lent Liam an old t shirt of your dads and you had to dress him. After that you walked him over to your bed and laid him down. You covered him up and laid next to him. Liam stared up at the ceiling, "Liam, please say something" you begged to him. All Liam did was blink, "Li, please. Silence isn't good, let's talk about this, please" you said to him. Liam didn't move or blink. You decided to let him sulk, you couldn't imagine what he was going through.
You laid next to Liam, playing with his hair and snuggling up to him. "I'm going to be here, for whenever you want to talk" you whispered to him. Once Liam fell asleep, you closed your eyes to get some rest as well.
During the middle of the night you started to feel the bed shake, which woke you up right away. You turned your body over and noticed that it was Liam who was shaking the bed, he was shaking and whimpering in his sleep. You wrapped your arms around his body and whispered, "Liam, shhhh. I'm here, it's okay. I'm here."
Liam wasn't just whimpering, he was crying as well and you didn't think he was sleeping anymore. "Hayden" he whimpered. You tried to not get emotional but you felt a tear stream down your face, "Liam, I'm here" you told him over and over. Liam wasn't shaking as much anymore but he was still whimpering Hayden's name and crying. "She's gone, she's gone" he said.
You sat up and pulled Liam up with you, "Lay on my lap" you told him. Liam laid his head on your lap and looked up at you and this time he was really looking at you. Tears streamed down his face which broke your heart. You touched his head and slowly rocked your body from left to right, "It's going to get better" you softly told him. "She's gone" Liam mumbled. "It's going to be okay" you told him.
"Y/N?" Liam said.
"Yes baby?" you replied.
"Please don't ever leave me" he begged.
You leaned down and kissed his forehead, "I won't, I promise" you reassured him.
You spent the rest of the night up against the headboard of your bed, with a heart broken teenage boy in your lap who was still whimpering and crying and all you could do was be there for him. You had no intentions of leaving that bed until Liam was better, it didn't matter if it took a few days, weeks or months. You weren't leaving until he was better.
"I promise, I won't ever leave you" you whispered to him all night until he fell asleep in your arms.
