I sat in the back seat of Lydia's car, as she continued to talk about the triple date she was trying to set us on.
"Lydia, for the last time no." Allison said.
"Come on, we could all use a little fun. We haven't had the best times recently, Jackson moved to London, you broke up with Scott, Y/N and Stiles..."
"Hey we don't talk about that." I spoke for the first time in a few minutes.
"Yeah yeah we know, don't bring up the S word." Lydia rolled her eyes.
"It's just that I expected a little more fight from his part, when I said give me some space I didn't mean forever."
"Yeah we get it." Lydia huffed. We started driving for a few more minutes until we came to a stop. We were the only ones on the road and stuck at a red light...okay. As we were stopped I looked out the window to see the blue jeep I had come to know.
"Oh shit. Lydia drive."
"I can't, can't you see I'm at a red light?"
"There's no one else on this freaking road, go!" Lydia looked over and saw what I was talking about and stepped on the gas pedal.
We drove a little further and stopped.
"Maybe we should talk to them." Allison suggested.
"No." I deadpanned.
"Maybe Allison's right-" Lydia was cut off by our screams as a deer busts through our front window. After the first moment shock I jumped out of the car only to see the jeep pull up next to us and Scott and Stiles jump out.
"Oh my god! Y/N are you okay?" Stiles ran to me.
"I'm fine." I said quietly.
Scott ran over to talk to Allison and Lydia.
"Y/N can I talk to you for a minute?"
"Stiles there's nothing to talk about."
"Yes, there is." he lead me to the other side of his jeep to have a more private conversation.
"I've given you space okay, what else do you want."
"What I wanted Stiles was for you to fight a little harder for me."
"What are you talking about, you said to leave you alone."
"I know but I didn't expect you not to try to make things better."
"What! I gave you exactly what you asked for. You told me to give you space, so I gave you space!"
"Stiles, if we were really something worth fighting for, at least a phone call would've been nice."
"That's not fair! I didn't want to piss you off more by bugging you. You know how many times I picked up that phone to call you, you know how many times I got in the car but turned around, you know how many stuff animals are now sitting on my bed that I bought for you. I gave you the space that you asked for!"
"Okay Stiles your right this conversation is stupid." I went to walk away when he grabbed my arm.
"Y/N don't go. Let's work this out. Please. I can't stand not being with you. It literally drives me crazy."
"That's the thing Stiles, I hate being with you."
"Y/N-" he started.
"But I hate not being with you more." I sighed.
"So what are you saying."
"We're like fire and ice, we don't belong together but somehow we always get paired together."
"So...are you willing to give us another shot?" he asked with hopeful eyes.
"Yes Stiles, I want to give us another shot."
Stiles did a little cheer before he picked me up, spun me around, and planted a long passionate kiss on my lips.
"I missed you so much Y/N."
"I missed you too Stiles." I giggled.
