"Hey Y/n are you here." I hear Brett call from my front door.
"ohhh no." I whisper jumping off my bed and looking around my room for something to cover my face.
"Y/n I know your here." He says coming closer to me.
"J-just a minute." I call trying to finish covering up my black eye.
"Y/n whats wrong." Brett says grabbing the knob on the my door as I threw my concealer into my top drawer.
"Nothings wrong." I say trying to cover my face with my hair.
Brett walks closer to me and grabs my chin to turn my face. He pushes my hair behind my ear and gets closer to face, looking at my eye.
"Who did this to you?" He asks lightly rubbing his thumb over the bruise. I look down not wanting to answer his question. "Y/n, you can tell me." he says now holding my face with his hands and forcing me to look up at him.
"I got in a fight." I say looking into his eyes.
He lets out a small laugh "Well yeah I can tell by your face."
"It was Christina." I continue
"What did she say this time." He asks now serious.
"Same old, called me fat, ugly, stupid. You know the usual." I say shrugging my shoulders.
Brett grabs my hand and pulls me out of my room and into the kitchen. "Ok, how was today different?"
"I don't know" I say jumping up onto one of the counters "I guess I just got tired of her saying stuff."
'Hmm" Brett says while putting a ice pack on my face. I reach up to grab it but Brett doesn't move his hand so I'm basically just holding his hand. "Are you ok though?"
"Yeah you didn't see how she looked. Ten times worse." I say laughing.
"I bet." He tells me putting down the ice pack and grabbing my knees "That black eye sure makes you look hot though."
"Is that right Mr. Talbot?" I ask leaning forward and looping my hands around his neck.
He doesn't answer my question but instead kisses me. "Do you know how beautiful you are?" he asks after he pulls away.
"I know how lucky I am to have a boyfriend like you."
"Seriously Y/n your gorgeous and smart and amazing and-"
I cut him off by kissing him "I love you." I mutter while putting my forehead on his.
"I love you more. And don't ever forget that."
