"Please, Theo," You beg, watching as he tenses. He stood, hands covered in your brother, Scott's, blood as he lay on the ground. "Please, fight it, don't do this," You take a step closer.
"I have to be Alpha," He says, finally.
"Even if it means losing me for it?"You whisper. He looks back at your tear streaked face. He could smell the fear off of you, the fear of losing him, the fear of losing your brother. "Please, just don't do this."
"I have too," He says just before his claws find their way to Scott's heart. You scream, dropping to ground, knowing that you had lost your brother, your best friend. "I'm sorry," He whispers, stopping by you on his way out.
"No," You choke out, "You aren't." He sighs, walking out of the library, and quickly you made your way to your brother's body. "Scott," You sob, pressing your palms in his chest. "Wake up, please, Scott, I can't do this with out you."
"Y/N," Mason says, finally waking up. "He's gone." He wipes a tear.
"No he's not, he's my big brother, he wouldn't leave me here." You say through your tears. Mason stands on the side, watching as you do everything in your power, then suddenly, Scott's eyes snap open and he lets out a roar. Gasping for air, he wraps his arms around you, "I thought I lost you." You sob.
"I'm not going anywhere." He tells you, running a hand through your hair.
"Scott, we have to do something, Theo-"
"I know, Y/N, I know, but for right now I need to worry about you." He wipes the tears from your cheeks, "He wasn't worth it."
"I loved him," You whisper.
"I know you did, and I'm sure he loved you too, but clearly he couldn't see what was more important."
