Y/N P.O.V
You halted in your tracks, skidding slightly as you watched Theo thrust his claws deeper into Scott's abdomen before shoving him to the floor. You pushed passed Theo before kneeling in front of Scott, who laid lifelessly on the library floor.
Raising your head at your boyfriend, you immediately glared at him which caused his yellow orbs to slowly fade away. "Theo, what have you done?" You questioned harshly as you pressed your palm on Scott's wound.
Theo then held a blank expression almost as if he had no regret after what he did to your friend. "Y/n, we have to go."
And in a swift, he grasped your arm with his bloodied hand and dragged you towards the door before you had a chance to open your mouth to protest. You watched as you were pulled away from the scene your boyfriend created which only ended up with Mason and Scott lying on the floor, helplessly.
Once you ended up at the parking lot, you still continued to thrash against his iron grip, until you both stopped as he held your shoulders down, steadying you in place. "What the hell is wrong with you Y/n?" He questioned.
With a large inhale of air, you shoved him away from you. "There's nothing wrong with me Theo, the one you should be worrying about is yourself. So what's going on with you?!" You spat in utter disgust. "You promised that one will get hurt Theo."
Theo blinked as he stepped towards you, "All this, I'm doing it for you Y/n- I'm trying to protect you, can't you see that?" He replied, as he gripped your wrist.
"Protect me from what exactly?"
He ran his fingers through his hair in frustration before he turned to face you, "From me Y/n! I'm trying to protect you from me!"
Theo's orbs then searched yours in desperation, you've never seen him so lost before.
But you knew there was something hidden behind those blue eyes that lure you in like a deep pool of water. And that something wasn't good.
Theo's hold on you suddenly grew tight. "You're hurting me." You winced as you tried to pry his hands off and by this, he almost immediately -as if you were a scorching flame- removed his fingers off you.
"I-I'm so sorry Y/n. I didn't mean-"
Glancing down at your now newly bruised wrist, you gulped as your cold glare landed on Theo, who held an ashamed look.
"Fix the mess you've caused Theo," You gritted out. "Or stay away from me. I mean it."
He waltzed closer, his scent surrounded you with his brows furrowed in confusion. Ever since Theo came back, you fell for him and once you fell- you fell hard.
"Don't you see- all I ever do is for us Y/n."
"But you're killing them Theo!" You exclaimed, flailing your arms.
You're boyfriends nose flared once he opened his mouth to reply, "Why do you care so much for them Y/n? What have they done for you? I've done everything that would never keep us apart." He replied, almost in the same manner.
"No one innocent deserves to die." You whispered, and something inside of you hoped that it would somehow make him realise that what he's doing was wrong.
With a sigh, Theo muttered, "But the good always dies first."
It was true because everything good dies here, even the stars.
But there was something odd about Theo, something that made you think twice before about why he was back in beacon hills in the first place and you wanted to know the real answer.
"Why did you come back Theo?" You blurted.
The soft evening breeze brushed against the both of you causing you to shiver slightly before he closed the gap between you until his warm breath fanned your cold cheeks.
His lips pulled into a smile, "You know why I came back Y/n, for you and-" He began.
You scoffed. "Cut the bullsh*t Theo. Why are you really here?"
As Theo's blue orbs began to disappear, gold eyes replaced it whilst he breathing grew heavier until a sudden growl escaped from him. "You really want to know why Y/n?" He asked. "I was promised a pack and I'm here to get it! So no I didn't come here for you." Theo spat harshly, making you stagger away from him.
You began to blink the tears back furiously as he began to blur in front of you. Everything was too deceiving- Theo never came back for you but to please himself. Once you pulse then came to a halt, you let out a sob as the thought invaded your thoughts.
An uninvited silence grew suffocating by the second, you didn't know what to say- not when the person who you trusted was a great liar.
As you then noticed Theo's hand twitch towards you, you couldn't help but avoid it and avert your eyes away from him.
"I want nothing to do with you Theo, not when you're hurting the people around you-"You paused, as your eyes soon welled up, "-which includes me."
Theo's expression softened before he opened his mouth to speak but you only shook your head stopping him.
With that, you pushed past him and headed straight back into the school trying to fix the mess that your boyfriend made.
And without a doubt you were scared of him, but most of all you were scared of getting hurt.
