Liam and I had been dating for almost four months but recently he's been distant. Avoiding me, not hanging out on Saturdays anymore. We're practically strangers now and its making me upset. I really like Liam but he doesn't seem all there any more. I decided I was going to talk to him about it today.I saw him rushing by me and I stopped him.
"Liam! Liam wait up!" I called.
"Oh y/n...uh can I talk to you?"
"Isn't that what we're doing now." I laughed.
"Y/n I think I like Hayden." He said quickly then covered his mouth like he didn't mean to say it.
"What?" I asked hoping that I had misheard him.
"y/n I'm sorry. I know you deserve the truth and the truth is, I've had feelings for him for a while now." I was speechless. I stood there with my mouth open unable to process anything.
"I'm sorry y/n but I can't keep dragging you around any more. So I guess this is us breaking up. You'll find someone who will treat you better than I ever did." He walked away. He freaking walked away! When I finally came back to reality I felt the tears welling up so I ran to the locker room.
Theo's POV
I looked up from my locker and saw Y/n run into the locker room. She looked sad and I've never told anyone but I've liked her since I can back to this town. She's smart, funny, pretty, and just amazing. I know she's too good for me but I can't help but like her. So I followed her into the locker room. When I got to the door I heard sobs.
"Y/N. Oh my god what happened." I walked in and saw her in tears.
"Just go away Theo." she sniffled.
"No, Y/n please tell me what happened." I sat down next to her on the bench.
"He-he broke up with me." she cried. That's all it took for me to pull her into my arms.
"Y/n, he doesn't deserve you. You're absolutely perfect and any guy who can't see that is crazy. I promise you can do so much better than him." I rubbed her back has she cried into my chest.
"He-he likes her m-more than me."
"Y/n stop. He's an idiot okay? He's going to regret this I swear. Okay now stop wasting your tears on him. He doesn't even deserve them." I wiped her tears away.
"Why are you being so nice to me Theo." She sniffled and wiped her remaining tears.
"Because ever since I've moved here your the only thing I think about. I think about how smart, gorgeous, funny, sarcastic, and completely perfect you are. Okay? I really really like you. Hell I might even be in love with you." I admitted. I looked down at her and before I could say anything else she kissed me.
2 months later
Y/n's Pov
Theo and I had been dating for 2 months now and he treats me like a princess. He's been nothing but loving to me and I love him. I was at my locker when I felt strong arms around my waist.
"Hey babe." he said with his head on my shoulder.
"Hi." I smiled.
"You feel like hanging out this weekend?" he asked.
"Sounds good to me."
"Perfect." He hummed.
"Hey I have to get to class."
"Noooooo." he whined.
"Babe come on."
"Fine." he pouted letting go of my waist.
"I love you!"
"I love you too." he grumbled. I got on my tippy toes and kissed him.
"See you after class." I smiled then walked away. I walked right past Liam thinking that him breaking up with me was the best thing ever.
