Isaac lays in his room at France, imagining Y/N's face when he told her he was gonna leave. Her eyes were red and she was having a hard time breathing. Isaac had his face in his hands, tears streaming down his face. Isaac had texted Y/N a million times, telling her that he was sorry. But Y/N never replied.
Isaac thought he shouldn't have left. But he had too, Allison had died and she was like a sister to him. He kept blaming himself for everything, that he couldn't save Allison, he was the reason why Y/n might be happier without him, he was the reason why she cried. And he couldn't cope with it.
Then back in Beacon Hills, Y/N sits in her house, watching Friends, all alone. After a couple of episodes, she just lost it and broke down crying. She picked up her phone and looked at the messages Isaac had sent her.
Isaac: Y/N, please.
Isaac: I'm sorry I left, I just had too. Please, you have to understand.
Isaac: Y/n, please answer me.
Isaac: I know you're mad but just please reply
She wanted to reply, but she couldn't. She loved Isaac, and he loved her, but in the end, he broke her. Y/N had also blamed herself, if it wasn't just Allison's death that made Isaac leave. Y/N knew she could get annoying and clingy, and thought about their pointless fights.
She sits still, her knees up to her chest crying into them. She checked the time, 8 pm. Y/N walked up to her room and laid onto her bed. She stared at the ceiling for what seemed like hours, remembering the memories of her and Isaac.
Then Y/N fell asleep crying her eyes out.
Isaac had his phone in his hand, looking at the messages. Then he started to type. "I love y-" He started but no. He deleted what he typed. He couldn't do it. Even though he really did love her, he couldn't. He thought about if Y/N had a new boyfriend, or if she was better off without him.
But it never came to Isaac's mind, if Y/N was as broken as him.
