Chased [Completed]

Problems

I wake up and find that I'm laying on the sofa in the protectors dorm. I sit up, a wave of dizziness hits me and makes the room start to spin.

When my senses pull themselves together again, I see Chloe, Beth, Briony and Lauren on separate sofas all still unconscious. I look around the room and nobody is here, like its a ghost town.

"So you're final awake" the person laughs coming out of the shadows.

"Brody, please stop this" I beg standing up slowly from the sofa.

"And why would I do that dear Elyshia?" He says standing in front of me and strokes my cheek but I jerk away.

"Because you're making a big mistake" I whisper closing my eyes.

"That mistake is?"

"Coming after me" I say turning back to him, "I'm right here, why don't you just take me now?"

"Well you see, Elyshia, that's too easy" He laughs and leans closer to my ear, "I don't go down without a fight."

"Burning down the whole school is your idea of going down with a fight?" I question scowling at him.

"I'll do whatever I can to win a fight, my flower" he sneers stepping even closer to me.

I look up to him as he takes his hand and runs it through my hair. The gentle gesture starts to make me think that Brody is not as bad as he sounds like but reality hits me in the face and makes me remember that he's burning my school down.

"Brody, what are you actually here for?" I ask taking his hand and holding it, "if it's not me then what is it?"

He looks me deep in the eyes, a range of emotions rage through his own eyes as I look for answers. "I want two things" he whispers, his eyes flicking towards my lips and back up to my eyes. "I want this."

He leans down and quickly places his lips on mine. If Niklaus' kisses were like fireworks, then Brody's are like heaven. He places his hands on the sides of my face whilst my arms are placed on his biceps.

Brody obviously hears someone getting closer because he pulls away from me. He whispers in my ear, "until next time flower." As the person walks into the room he's gone out the window leaving me staring at the place he was at with my fingers on my lips.

"Elyshia, you're awake?" I hear Owen ask running over to me.

"Um, yeah" I say snapping out of my daydream and turn towards him.

"Are you okay?" He says touching my shoulder, "you don't look quite yourself."

"I'm fine just still recovering" I smile, "what's going on?"

"We need to leave"

"Why?"

"The school is outnumbered and is slowly getting taken over. It's going to fall, Elyshia."

"What?" I stammer out before sitting on the sofa and placing my head in my hands. "The school can't fall, it can't."

"Elyshia, if we don't move then we're going to go down with it" Owen says pulling me up, "we need to go now."

"What about these four? We can't take them ourselves" I say pointing to Lauren, Beth, Chloe and Briony.

"Thats why we're here" I turn to the door and see Luke, Wayne, Dan, and Henry walk through the the door.

"Where's everyone on else?" I ask as they pick up the girls and start to head out of the dorm.

"They're heading to the airport to get on the next flight to France" Luke replies, "Everyone who survived from the attack is coming as well. We have a second school located in Paris and we need to head there now."

I stare hopelessly at Owen as he shrugs his shoulders and follows the others. I turn towards the window and see the shadow of someone move away from the window. I sigh running out of the room and head down the stairs. I get outside the school and see James running towards me.

"What's happened? Are you okay?" He rushes out pulling me into a hug.

"I'm sorry James but I have to go" I say pushing out of his grip.

"What? Why?"

"I'm moving to France" I say looking towards the taxi waiting for me.

"Will I see you again?" He asks frowning towards me.

"I don't know but for now this is goodbye" I reply and kiss him on the cheek quickly before running into the taxi.

We board the private jet the school and the only seat left for me is next to some boy named Luca. Luna had obviously taken the seat next to Niklaus but what annoyed me was the fact that he didn't tell her to move. He's supposed to be my boyfriend.

As the plane was taking off, Luna kept giving me looks and smirking at me. She also tried getting Niklaus to do stuff but he didn't even acknowledge her presence which made me calm down slightly.

"Elyshia?" I turn to Luca and he smiles softly at me, "you might want to rest, you look pretty racked up."

"No I'm fine Luca, you just go back to what you were doing" I smile and turn back around for my eyes to meet with the stomach of someone. I look up and see Niklaus staring down at me.

"Could I speak to you" Niklaus says through gritted teeth, "alone."

"Um, sure?" I reply but it's more of a question. He grabs my arm and drags me to the back of the plane.

"What do you want Nik?" I ask frustratedly as I cross my arms over my chest.

"I heard what you were talking about in the dorm when you woke up from falling unconscious" He says agitatedly.

"What about it?" I question frowning.

"I know you kissed him" he replies angrily.

"Wow, he kissed me. Big whoop. Did you know that James has kissed me, Brooke has kissed me as well! Niklaus you let Luna sit beside you and she's been giving me dirty looks since I sat down on the plane. You practically let her grope you!" I exclaim a little loudly.

"If you're so bothered by it why don't you just stop her!" He shouts back and pushes me a little too hard. I fall back and hit my head on the table. His eyes soften and he slowly starts to walk towards me. "Elyshia, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean-"

"Becoming your girlfriend was the biggest mistake" I reply monotonous "ever."

I run off back to the front of the place and sit back in the space I was before. The next thing I know I was a sleep.
