Chapter 7 - roommate

I got my things together and left. When I got to my loft it wasn't a complete disaster which is unusual because zoe usually trashes the place. She walked out of her room and into our kitchen and saw I was there and ran to me and hugged me tightly. "Omg I missed you" she said "I was literally only gone for one night" I say kinda rudely because she can over exaggerate. "Well any way let's get ready for our day"

She told me everything we were going to do and it actually seemed like the day was going to be really fun. She said "first we are going to eat lunch, then get mani-pedis, then go shopping, and end the day of fun with a sappy movie that we could either cry to or make fun of".

I went to go get ready and put on a typical girl - outfit which I usually don't wear but also like wearing. It was high - waisted blue jean shorts and a crop top that was kinda bonaroo-ey. I straightened my long brown hair and did light make up so I didn't look like a clown. We left the loft with excitement in our veins.
*skips day*

It was 6:30 when I got back to my loft and kian and I had been texting throughout the day. He said he would pick me up at 7:00 so I just stayed in the same outfit but since I knew we were going to the beach I put my bathing suit under my clothes. I also packed a little bag just in case I spent a night at their house again. At this point it hit me and all I could think about is if kian asked me on this date-thing if that means he likes me? I hear a knock on the loft door and go open it and invite kian in. "Come see mi casa" I say with a laugh "okay, okay" he says laughing. He looks around then we walk down to his car and get in.
*skips car ride*

We end up at the pier and go to Joes crab shack. After pigging out, we walked down the beach. At this point it was dark and we were the only ones on the beach. The only thing lighting the sand was the beautiful moon. I was walking barefoot and the water was coming up and hitting my feet and the water felt absolutely perfect.
"Kodie, I'm so glad my volleyball hit you in the face" he says while laughing. "that's so mean!" I scream "but, I am also very happy that it hit me too" I add. I stop walking and just turn to the horizon, glaring at the fluorescent moon. In the corner of my eye I can see that kian was looking at me and smiling. "Let's swim" I say turning my head to him. "Okay" he says shrugging his shoulders. I slip out of my shorts and pull my shirt over my head to catch kian staring at me once again, this time I can't help but to stare back at his shirtless body. He takes a step closer to me staring deep into my eyes.

Is this the moment he's going to kiss me? I'm so ready for an amazing kiss from this boy. He takes one more step and picks me up and throws me over his shoulder before sprinting to the water while I scream. He runs in and throws me in the water once we got to the deep part. We both come up and I splash him while laughing.

Next thing I know he wraps his hands around my waist and pulls me in. Him being able to touch and me not being able to, I wrap my legs around his waist. We just laugh for a minute noticing how much fun it is to be with eachother. Drops of water roll down my face from my wet hair.

His thumb slides across my cheek, we're staring deep into each others eyes. He slides my hair behind my ear and smiles. I smile back, of course. As his eyes move back and forth to my eyes and my lips I notice that this is where I want to be. With him 24/7. I lick my lips and wrap my hands around the back of his head while his head moves into mine. Our lips connect. He bites my lip while I tug his hair slightly. His hands move from my waist up to my shoulder blades. And we keep kissing. It was truly heaven on earth.
