chapter 35- change

later that day my parents, joey, Anna, and the baby got home. Andrea and I pretty much spent the whole day cleaning and packing. I also started the paper work for my loft and talked to my landlord about the situation. jc, kian, adam, and nick spent all day on the video game and attempting to help clean, but failing miserably.

"Hey hun" my mom said while setting the bags she had in her hand on the dining room table.

my dad walked in with the baby in his arms. she was awake and he was making faces to her.

"Awh let me see the baby" I said grabbing her from my dad

"Hey AnnaLynne." I said in a baby voice looking at her beautiful eyes.

holding her made me want a family of my own. obviously not right now, because I'm already stressed out as is,  but soon.

I sat down and layed her in my lap. she was staring at me, intensely. I loved it, the feeling that I could entertain this helpless little being.

"Awh look at the angel." Kian said walking over to me "Oh and the baby too" he said jokingly.

I laughed and shoved his shoulder.

"I want one" I said looking at the baby then him.

"Well when do you want to go steal one from the hospital?" He laughed.

"Im not kidding. I'm not saying I want one right away. I just want one." I said.

"I do too. we never really talked about it but I for sure want a family." He said.

I smiled at him. I've never felt happier, even though there's so many things for me to be stressed out about his words and presence could make that all go away in a flash.

"I love you." I said kissing him. the kiss ended up being longer than expected.

"Hey let's not teach the baby how she was made" jc said jokingly.

we stopped the kiss and I handed Annalynee to joey.

kian went off to the living room where jc, nick, adam, and my dad were all watching sports. I walked over to andrea and my mom who were making dinner and talking.

"have you told her yet?" I asked andrea.

she shook her head and my mom looked at me confused.

"Andrea and I have interviews at that daycare"

"Oh girls that's great! when?" She asked

"Tuesday. so since tomorrow's Saturday I think we should leave Sunday. just so we can spend one last day here and then also have one day when we get home to unpack and everything " I said.

"Oh I'm sad to see y'all go but I'm really happy for you hun. you'll have to come back before you go back to school. it's already the end of July, when does School start?" She asked.

"September 1st." I said.

"Oh well if you get the job try to get a weekend off or something to come visit. maybe just you two or something" She said.

"What do you not like my friends?"I asked jokingly.

"No honey. those boys are so sweet. and you're boyfriend seems like a keeper. I think you're dad thinks so too" She said pointing to my dad and kian who were having a conversation and would both laugh every now and then. "I just feel like we'd get more time together" She finished.

"true. I'll make sure it works out. maybe it'll be just me and andrea can stay and do my shifts" I said looking at her.

"I think I'd rather die." Andrea said jokingly.
