*kian's pov*
I'm so glad that kodie feels comfortable enough to tell me all that. I like a girl that expresses her feelings instead of just saying "nevermind" or when you ask what's wrong they just say "nothing".
"Well I'm really glad you didn't decide to leave before you met me, of course I wouldn't have noticed but I see now that a part of me would've been missing" wow that was cheesy. "Sorry that was sappy" I added with a slight laugh. "It's fine, it was nice" she said with that beautiful smile of hers.*Kodie's pov*
Sitting there was nice. Just kian and I, this pool that felt amazing, and the air which was perfect. By this time it was around 2:00 in the morning. We decided to walk inside and of course jc and Sam were still awake. They had the tv on but weren't watching it, instead they were in the kitchen talking. That conversation stopped as soon as we reached the top of the stairs. "You've been out there quite long" Sam said with a smirk at kian which was walking over there. "Want anything?" Kian asked as he opened the refrigerator door. "No thanks" I said with a smile. Kian got himself a water then stood on the other side of the bar where jc stood. They were facing sam, kian and Sam started to talk as jc walked up to me. "Hey can we talk... finally" he said with a laugh. I could see kian staring at us while we turned around and walked to the balcony.Jc and I were on the balcony, it wasn't awkward at all just standing there. I guess it just feels so good outside that nothing could make it awkward.
"So about a date? We were interrupted both other times I tried to ask you so hopefully third times a charm" he said with a smirk. I couldn't help but to smile because of how cute he is. But I know that I like kian. Honestly, the first time jc asked I was going to say yes. But I've thought about it more since then and I know that jc and I should only be friends. "Jc, listen you're an amazing guy that I've seen so far.." I said with a smirk "but, I just don't think it's a good idea to go out. It would cause stuff between you and kian, and me and kian and it just wouldn't turn out well." I say with a straight face but not a mean one. "Oh - okay I uh, I understand" he said with a fake smile. "Jc please don't let this change everything. I don't want to see you every now and then and us make awkward smiles and never talk" "I want us to be friends" I say honestly.
"I want us to be friends too! I promise it won't be awkward, but one more question" "okay shoot" I said. "So you like kian? I just want to clear that up so I know to not start liking you." He says and I can tell he's being sincere. "Yes, I like kian".
This was the first time I've ever said that out loud, It felt awesome.
"Okay, well since we're friends now, I'm going to make sure you guys date. It's gonna happen" he said with a wink. I just smiled back.
