Chapter 23 - ex

We had dinner at a kinda-fancy restaurant. The food was very good and we had good talks.

When we were done eating we walked out of the restaurant and started walking on the sidewalk. We were in downtown LA and tonight was a beautiful night. I heard kian's phone go off. It was a text.

"Hey, dom just texted me. He's having a party. I know it wouldn't be the "perfect" thing to do on our anniversary but he really wants to meet you." Kian says.

"Wait what about your TV show?" I ask kian

"I don't need to watch it. As long as I'm with you I'm doing something I love." He said making me blush.

"Okay, well that seems fun" I say to him with a smile.

"Okay his apartment is just around the block."

We started walking and ended up in front of a door. We walked in, and right in front of the door was stairs. I could hear the music and it was on a bryson tiller song, which made me already like dom. Kian grabbed my hand, "Come in, it'll be fine" he said reassuring me with a smile.

We walked up the stairs and right when we got on the floor a guy with a short black beard and short black hair came up to us with a red cup in his hand. "KIAN, WASSUP" he yelled. "Hey dom, meet my girlfriend, Kodie." Kian said giving dom a man hug. "Hi kodie, I'm dom and this is my house. And I love your name by the way." Dom said while shaking my hand. "Hello dom, you have a beautiful apartment" I said laughing. "What would you two like to drink?" He asked kian and I. Kian ordered a drink but I didn't hear what he got because I was looking at all the people. "-and you kodie?" Dom said cutting off my thought. "I'll have a sweet tea with vodka please" I answered. "Ooh a girl that knows what she wants. I already like her kian." He said patting kian on the back and walking away. Kian turned to me about to say something then he looked past me. "Shit" he said with wide eyes. "What" I said with burrowed eyebrows. "My ex girlfriend is here. Andrea, she's also YouTube famous." Kian says. "Wait which one is she?" I ask. " the girl over there with-" he was cut off by dom yelling. "Here is your drinks! Have fun, I'll be in the kitchen! Now come with me kian." Dom grabbed kian's arm and started pulling him away. "Kodie, go meet people. I'll give him back in a second" Dom finished and they disappeared in a crowd of people in the kitchen.

I decided to do what dom said and go meet people. I'm going to forget about kian's ex and try to make some friends since the only friends I've made in LA are guys. I walked into the living room where most of the people were. I walked up to a girl with long blonde hair and a girl with short brown hair dancing and talking to eachother. "Hey, I'm kodie" I said interrupting their conversation. The blonde one looked at me then back to the brown haired one. "Im going to get a refill" the blonde one said and walked past me into the kitchen. "Hi kodie." The brown haired one said, exhaling and mixing her drink. "So are you a friend of dom's?" I said smiling awkwardly. "Yeah, pretty much" She said looking around. "So- I heard that you're dating kian lawley!" She said with a bitchy smile. "Uh- yeah for one month today, actually." I said nodding. "Awh how great for you. You're still in the stage where you think he actually loves you." She said with a laugh. My eyebrows were now very close together "wha-" I started to say. "He's sweet isn't he? He cuddles you and still shows affection. Well that's not for long. Sooner or later he'll break your heart into a million pieces. It will shatter and he won't care at all. He'll leave you breathless and wondering of what you did wrong. Just wait." Her words hit me like a truck, and I could feel tears starting in my eyes. "By the way, I'm andrea, andrea russet. Have a nice night, kodie" She said with a bitchy laugh. She walked right past me and the tears started to roll down my cheek.

"What did you say to her?" I heard kian say from behind me. I turn around to see the back of andrea and kian standing in front of her. "Nothing, now get away from me" andrea said walking past kian. Kian's eyes moved straight to mine once she was gone. His eyes made me cry more. I ran past him and sprinted down the stairs. "Kodie wait-" I heard kian say before I slammed the door. Now I was out on the side walk, my back up against this brick wall, with tears streaming down my face. I pull out my phone and look at the time. 12:17.

The door next to me slams. My head is in my hands and my tears are still coming.

"Kodie- babe" kian said out of breath. He grabs my hands and separates them from my face. He puts his hand under my chin and raises my head to where I'm face to face with him. "Babe what did she say to you?" I wiped my tears and sniffled. "She- she just warned me. She- she said that our relationship would s-soon go down the drain. And I don't know why but it got to me." I said trying not to stutter but failing miserably.

"Baby, listen." He said with his hands on my cheeks. "She's a bitch, and our relationship ended horribly. She treated me horribly and I was a douche. It didn't work out and I'm so glad that it didn't, Because if we were still together I would've never met you. Kodie, she's a horrible person. And you can't let her ruin our night. So let me go tell dom that we're leaving and we can go home and watch netflix. Okay?" He always has a way to make things better. "Okay" I said with a sniffle and a small smile.

He walked in the apartment. A few minutes later I heard him walking back down the stairs. When the door opened dom came out first, then kian behind him. "Hey, I'm really sorry. I didn't invite andrea she just came with lia. But anyway. I hope you can forgive me." Dom said sincerely. "Of course I can. It's not your fault. But thank you for letting me come, and it was nice to meet you." I say. "It was nice to meet you too. You are perfect for kian and I can see your relationship going far. Maybe you guys can come back over sometime and I can invite all our exes." Dom said with a laugh. "Yes that would be so fun!" I say sarcastically. I like dom, he's super cool. Dom hugged me and gave kian a man hug then walked back into his apartment.

"Come on babe" kian grabbed my hand and we walked to where we parked.

When we got home kian went to jc and started telling him about how both of their exes were there. I walked downstairs and changed into black pajama shorts and a grey tank top. I walked up stairs and kian and jc were in the kitchen laughing. "Awh are you guys talking about how hot I am?" I say while entering the kitchen. "Oh definitely" kian says laughing. "Well I'm going to go to bed. Goodnight kiddos" jc pat me on my head and walked to his room.

"Come on let's go watch netflix." Kian said. We walked downstairs and kian entered first, with me behind him. The lights were off and the only thing giving off light was the small red light on his tv. Right as I entered the room kian turned around and pushed me up against the door that was now closing. Kian lunged into a kiss. The kiss was sensational but heated. His hands went to the bottom of my tank top and pulled at the ends. I raised my arms above my head and he pulled my shirt off without breaking the kiss. I grabbed the buttons on his pants and started to unbutton them. "W-wait a-re you sure?" Kian said out of breath, his lips still hovering my mouth. "Very sure" I said starting the kiss again. I unbuttoned his pants and he kicked them off. I slid my shorts off my legs and kian broke the kiss. He looked at my face and then down at my body. "You. Are. So perfect." Kian said with a big smile. I wrapped my hands in his hair and our tongues wrestled. Kian's hands move down to my thighs and he grips them tightly. I jump up and wrap my legs around his waist without breaking the kiss. He walks over to the bed and lays me down. He takes off his shirt then hovers over my body. We kiss again but more passionately. His hands wrap around to the small of my back and I start kissing his jawline. I move my kisses to his neck. Kian slightly groans and his grip tightens on my back. His hands lightly brush up my back giving me cold chills causing me to be out of breath more than I already am. He unhooks my bra and I throw it off. His body is now in between my legs while we are kissing. His hands, still behind my back, go up to my shoulders and grip them tightly. My hands go down to my underwear and I slip them off. Kian kisses down my neck and I let out a small moan and lightly dig my nails into his back causing him no pain. Kian pulls down his boxers and throws them across the room.

This is it. This is the moment that will change our relationship for better, or for worse. Kian puts one hand on my jawline and grips it tightly as we kiss. His other hand reaches over to his bedside table then lightly brushes my stomach on the way down. I know that it's about to happen, I can tell by kian's change of breath. He's nervous. "Babe it-it's okay. I-I love you so much" I say comforting him. kian passionately kisses me as I feel him enter me. My hands grip his back, probably leaving marks. We move in sync as he kisses my neck and as I breath rapidly. My stomach is warm and I know that this amazing moment is soon coming to an end. My toes curl as kian let's out a big groan and slowly lays beside me.

"I've never l-loved someone as much as I love you kodie. I love you with all my heart." He says as he pulls me in. My head is laying on his chest and my eyes slowly close. "Kian you're the love of my life." I say before slowly drifting to sleep.
