I look to the sky as the sun blinds me so I put my hand above my eyes. I see this cute brunette that looks about my age holding his hand out to me and says "omg omg I'm so so sorry, are you okay?". "Yeah I'm fine" I snap back. I grab his hand and he raises me off the sand. I brush off my butt and elbows. I had a bathing suit on so who knows if I have sand burn or not. "Did I already say I'm sorry?" He asks "yes, plenty of times" "well I really am, oh and btw the names Kian Lawley. What's yours?" "Kodie Smith" "omg I really like that name" he says with a little giggle. Before I could reply he says "so you wanna play volleyball with me and my friends?" and points at three pretty decent looking guys "idk will I get hit in the face again?" I say laughing "no no no that won't happen again" he giggles and I actually realize how cute he is. We walk over to the boys and kian says "Hey guys this is kodie, kodie this is jc, Sam, and Ricky" they all say hey and I say hey back a little embarrassed.
