My life has moved along quite nicely actually (SEQUEL MLFYWB)

"Deven, I swear to you nothing happened, she was just upset we were just talking!" Max shouted across the room at me "Max don't give me that, this is the third time I've caught you with another girl, I'm leaving" I stated clearly as I walked out of the flat. I stood outside and leant on the wall, grabbing the packet of cigarettes from the pocket of my leather jacket I took one from the box and lit it. I looked up at the evening sky as I breathed the smoke out into it. Max came out and stood oposite me "Please Deven! You have to understand" I blew the smoke in his face and he wafted it away

"Max what makes me think I'm going to believe you this time?" I dropped my fag end on the floor and stamped it out with my heel "I have to go to work we will discuss this later" I said before going back inside to get changed. 

My life out here in Las Vegas is a hell of a lot different to what it was back in Los Angeles. I've been here a good Three years now and I was working in a diner out here which was something I enjoyed doing. I have been with Max since I got out of hospital and have been living with him for my whole time here. However I had just walked in on him kissing another girl. This isn't the first time he has done this to me. I forgave him before because it was near the start of our relationship and I thought he would change but he hasn't. This time I am going, I just needed to clear my head a little. I grabbed my skirt and put it on with my clear tights and heeled boots. I grabbed a clean shirt and my coat before heading out to work. The Diner I work in is called Tiffanys and it's in downtown Las Vegas. I got into my car (Yes I had finally managed to get my license out here) and drove to work. It was never really busy here and I think that's what I liked the most, I was never working too hard. I hung my coat up in the back room and grabbed my notepad and pen before going to say Hey to everyone "Hey Kacie" I greeted my best friend as I noticed her behind the serving counter

"Hey Deven, how are you today?" I went and stood with her 

"Not so good, I was wondering if I could ask a really big favour?"

"Sure" she nodded and I told her what had happened with Max "Oh hunny, you are always welcome to stay with me and you know that" she hugged me before I had to start working. 

I was finally off shift and heading home I drove Kacie back with me "I won't be long I just need to   grab my stuff" I headed upstairs and went into my room it was almost midnight and I was guessing Max had gone out seeing as it was a Friday night and he wasn't around. I grabbed my duffel bag and stuffed all of my belongings inside before heading out back to Kacie in my car. I turned the radio up and me and Kacie danced around to the Taylor Swift song that was playing. "So, where are you going to go?" Kacie asked me

"I don't know, I think I'll find my own place, I'll just have to start doing more hours at the Diner, maybe 5 days a week instead of 2" I shrugged as we pulled up at Kacie's parents house. Kacie was only 20 and she reminded me of myself when I was that age, so care free and happy. I just hope she didn't end up like me. I followed her in and greeted her Mother and Father, whom I know from previous visits to Kacie's house. I followed her up the stairs "I'm afraid you're going to have to share beds with me tonight" I smiled 

"Aw don't worry, that's fine with me" I'd never actually been in Kacie's room. I placed my duffel bag on the bed and looked around. The walls were painted a Lilac color and they were covered in posters of her favourite bands "Your poster's are cool" I stated walking around the sides of the room she giggled "Thank you" I took them all in, there were a lot of Black Veil Brides and Pierce The Veil ones but one of them caught my eye "Kacie?" I called her from her bathroom "I didn't know you liked Falling In Reverse?" I asked pulling it from the wall. There was a silence before I heard her footsteps  "Oh, yeah I like them, why?" I smiled at her

"Ahh no reason" I pinned it back to the wall and went over to my bag grabbing my PJ's out and going into the bathroom to get changed....
