Chapter Forty Seven

Me and Kacie were now sat down at a table at the side of the room, Ronnie, Jacky, Charlotte and Tony had joined us as Mike and Vic were trying to sober Jaime up in the toilets, how they were going to do that I don't know, I'd never seen Jaime that drunk before. "Has Jaime upset you?" Kacie asked and I shrugged "No he just freaked me out a little" I replied "He told me he loved me?" Kacie laughed "Well come on Deven who wouldn't love you?" I bit my lips it was kind of an awkward statement considering two of my ex's were sat around the table we were sat at. "Hey we should all go dance?" Charlotte said and we all headed over to the dancefloor. Ronnie was holding Marie as Kacie dragged me over to one side of the dancefloor "I don't know what to do?" I narrowed my eyes at her "What are you talking about?" 

"Well, I mean, me and Ronnie are still technically married and he is really good with Marie but, I'm totally in love with your Brother in law" I rolled my eyes at her

"I think you should decide once you are sober?" she slapped my arms playfully "But seriously you need to just sit and think about it" she nodded agreeing "WAIT until I get back from France ok! Don't make any decisions without me!" I warned her and she laughed

"Fine, I'll wait" I smiled at her and she took me back over to where Ronnie and the others were, Vic had appeared now. "Hey, are you alright? What happened out there?" he asked me, wrapping his arms around my waist "Oh he wouldn't let me leave and he was getting on my nerves" I didn't really want to tell him what Jaime had admitted to me in his drunken state and I just wanted to forget it even happened. "Is he ok?" I asked wondering where he was 

"Mike took him home"

"Oh Mike's gone?" I asked a little disapointed 

"Well we don't want to leave him on his own to get home" I nodded understanding 

"What about Jenna is she gone?" Vic shrugged and I rolled my eyes.

The night came to an end and most people had now left apart from me, Vic, Tony, Kacie and Ronnie who were all staying at mine and Vic's tonight. Kacie was house sitting our place with Ronnie and Tony we were dropping off at the apartment tomorrow on our way to the airport. We were in the back of a taxi and Vic was grilling me about Jenna again, I wasn't sure if I wanted to tell him about the video she had shown to me, I really wanted to put all of that into the past and never look back at it. I sighed "It was just a video of you two that's all" he knotted his eyebrows together 

"What do you mean a video of us?" Did he really have no idea? Had she filmed this secretly to hurt me or to blackmail Vic with? I sighed "It was of you two on that night of my birthday party and you were kissing in your car" he groaned 

"I knew she had done something with her phone!" I shook my head at him and let out a groan turning to Kacie who was talking to Ronnie and joining in with their conversation about Marie. When we pulled up at home I got out of the car, I couldn't wait to get out of this dress and into my pyjamas. 

I laid down next to Vic in our bed "Hi" he said as he stared across at me

"Hi, I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight!" I stated excitedly 

"Why?"

"We're going to Paris tomorrow and it's like our first holiday!" Vic smiled at me and kissed my forehead "Well you'd better get some sleep because it's a long flight tomorrow" I snuggled closer to him "I love you Deven Marie Fuentes" I chuckled 

"I love you too!" 

I was so excited when I woke up the next morning "Ok so what time does the flight leave?" I asked Vic as he came out of our bathroom "11am, so get a move on!" I rolled my eyes
